I didn't say anything about 'sound' at all in the demo (except that I have it pretty low) OR in the forums. Why would I? On normal occasions, yes sound is a great help. Tonight I specifically said my sound was down low, and if you watched the demo, I never changed that, I said the same thing to lao, to you, and whoever talked to me earlier and after the demo. Also about those, did you know that when your teammate sees somebody, it'll show up on your radar? Oh yeah, its true, believe it, its not magic. Go check the demo again and notice that I go out to check after I realize theres commotion out in front, which is the kill in the stariwell. Then I start typing to you again (or whoever I was typing to) and notice that my teammate gets knifed. And seeing the 'SOMEONE GOT KNIFED' symbol at the top, and a big blue 'X' on the radar in front. I assumed a T was there, so I check and what do you know. And also if you watch that part of the demo, it explains your 'spray at the knee' thing. Did you see how low I pulled down the crosshair to shoot the guy inside front office? Well if you watched closely, you can see I hit him like once. |

EDIT: The demo Shows absolutely not evidence of hacks. All the scout shots were easily made by any experenced player and could have easily been a fluke or a combination of skill and luck. Same goes for the AK at back of long hall. Also note that he pulled no other 'BS' shots in the rest of the demo. And the demo starts of with him suggesting that some1 demo!! So if (key word, 'if') he was hacking be4 chances are they are turned off in the demo. He will not be banned and will not undergo any punishment as of now. If any other Demos surface PM/xfire me them. Note: the demo was by walrus muffin Az, please do not compare Scrims (5v5) vs a pub. In a scrim you are playing against opponents with some sort of skill and not to mentions to work as a team. like with communication and tactics. Pubs offer only shooting and in some cases, dynamics/flow of maps. not to mention you may be against 7 players whom have never played and 2 afks while your team is all using UMPs. It is hard to use Scrim data to compare pub data. Ive seen steel suck in scrims and roll in pubs and visa vers. on a final note: canoe, jump less. Especially in close quarters. It makes you a sitting duck in the air with no accuracy and obvious target. Any idiot has a heightened chance to spray (not even factoring aim) and kill you. Edited Thu Jan 03 2008, 10:12AM |
