I'm resigning my FT tag. I've grown sick and tired of the shit that is going on these forums, and really, I've lost complete interest. The amount of immaturity that has been going on, especially lately, has grown my patience thin, and I think I've let it go on for far too long. There basically is no need for moderation status, and if anyone does speak up they get flamed for it. Even a few members who I even liked have surprised me and pissed me off with stupid shit. I have no hope in this clan gaining new members, and more and more people including myself are going to get sick of people's shit and eventually leave. I am also disappointed but not surprised that FTC failed. We had a few good nights but it was nice while we lasted. Maybe there will be a clan base built around Left4dead but at the pace and maturity I see it going I have no hope. Aside from all of my displeasure on here, I have personal issues that I have to take care of. My stepdad's in the hospital. He had 2 strokes on Wednesday right before Thanksgiving, and then overnight he had another one. He's miraculously still alive, and recovering, but has a lot of things wrong with him. He's the closest thing I have ever had to a father, so I'm going to help him and my mother out by getting another job and helping around the house more. Good luck with the FT Community. I never thought I would ever resign because of this kind of petty bullshit, but it has come to this. There's always a time and place for something like this to fail, and I think it's inevitably close. Please remove my name from the clan list, and my admin status as well. |

So you're quitting because a few members are asses to the newbie gurl? (I know that's not the only reason, not picking a fight) We're all asses to the women who come in the clan 70% of the time, it's not like it's anything new. Anyways, sad to see you go. We all know this community is going down a shithole (referring to our CSS base) right now. Now that L4D has come out, we have a somewhat new-to-come-maybe base. We'll find a new passion, and with a new game brings in new people to our clan. It won't be easy, but we'll pull through. Sad to see one of our most respected members and senior give up on us. Don't really understand yet another shitstorm between members but i don't think this was a rash decision (least hope not). You gotta do what you feel's right. I don't think it's just Melanie but also slick. He's constantly getting flamed and no one really sticks up for him, and although I haven't grown sick of it, It's gotten me upset. Look buddy, I'm going to look at this as you won't have time to come on here for two jobs, and you need to deal with shit at home. Because you are an advocate for "NO RAGE QUITTING", so good luck with your ventures, my best to your family and especially your step dad, he's in my prayers, and just know that you got me in here.. and have always given me a helping hand, and I, in turn, lend you a hand whenever you need one. If a person's opinion isn't what someone else wants to believe, they are flamed and subjected for it. Nobody has the right to tell anyone who is right or who is wrong. Personally, I don't care what gender it is. Women wanted equality, so "treating a women like shit" does not apply to me. It's the respect aspect. It's universal. And most of the members in this clan lack any respect at all, especially for another person's opinion. It really pisses me off for someone like Slick who is trying to fit in on here get turned down to shit for every thread he makes simply because people do not like him. Are people really that immature? Move the fuck on. Give people a chance. How the hell are you going to form a new player base when it's evident that if a person shows the slightest flaw you're going to jump on them like a fucking prick? I'm pretty sure it's a rash decision. I'm so fed up and disgusted with humanity that I've grown literally apathetic towards everyone. It's not an emotional or emo point of view, it's someone who sits back and analyzes everything and comes to a conclusion that there really is no hope in humanity. The only thing people can do is brag about everything they have and completely ignore the needs of someone else who doesn't have anything. I wasn't raised the right way by my dad. The reason being, he was an alcoholic. I was shut out from the outside world until I was about 8 years old. I had no social development. This applies to some people, so if someone would come onto these forums who seems a bit out of place, they are given no chance in the world to fit in. This is the reason why people fucking kill themselves because everyone is too worried about themselves to give a shit about anyone else. I'm not saying that Melanie or Slick are going to do that, I'm sure they're smarter than that. But you people need to realize that the world doesn't fucking revolve around you. I understand that most of this is emotional because my life really has sunk low in the shit creek recently, but this is how I honestly feel about humanity. And to me, the forums have been a big part of that feeling (as of late, it never used to be like this.) I also feel that it has a lot to do with leadership lacking in age. When Alex was a big part of FT, people respected each other because they had someone that was older and more mature to look up to. Ever since he stopped taking interest, it really has tumbled downhill. Anyways, I'm not going to criticize anymore because it won't make a difference. Aside from all of the above, everyone has moved onto a different game so I really see no reason to stay here anymore. Thanks to all of you for the great memories over the years. It's a shame all of that's gone. |

You would be surprised on the crazee shit i sometimes do to try and keep somebody happy. And the whole humanity being doomed thing you were talking about... ive been riding that idea train for a long time now. Once you accept that, you will feel a lil better. Humans are competitive and selfish by nature, even sometimes to the people dear to them. Its our only flaw. We have something called choice. "The Matrix" played this out to some extent, but in all honesty, many of the messages portrayed in that movie have some truth to it. I have a group of friends, including their girlfriends, and this group that has been close to me over the years has had a lot of tension build up. We all have something to say about one another, whether its behind there backs or up close and personal... and i have been the one cleaning up the mess from time to time to keep the peace. Im coming close to giving up on it. I dont think i will though... The point im tryin to make, is no matter how close people may be, everyone is different, and differences always clash. Its up to us to choose to deal with it quietly and humane, or speak out and tear it apart. The problem is choice. Aside from all that bullshit i just said, one day ima mail you a new PC with some new games and we are gonna play some shit together. You just wait. Im always here. Dont be afraid to ask for anything. Its been fun. |

Adios. P.S. FT is not going down the shitter, it's just changing. Shifting from a primarily CSS oriented community to a multi-game community... and that's fine... because when Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 and whatever the hell else comes out, I'm going to be playing with the same people I play every game with... The only way this community can die... is if people stop playing video games or if kremit kicks the bucket. With the latter probably being more likely. So, cheers. To Kremit's longevity. *Cheers* |
