I am one of the worst ranked players on FT. Sure, I'm not one of the worst Players, but my rank is horrible. I have a few friends over, they play on my steam ID, and they get their asses handed to them, 1 by 1. I usually try out things that i wouldn't normally do in a scrimmiage, just to get used to the tactics or weapons that i wouldn't use in a pinch. Your right alex, you need to be mature enough (and not so into the game enoguh) to be able to let your reputation and your ranks/stats take a beating. After playing with kernel again, I really don't know what to say. When your on his team, its fun. When your not on his team, it's not. Sometimes he's really good, and good to the admins, and sometimes he's a total asshole to everyone (and mic spams). And I hate to say it but the entire -vp- crowd brings people to the servers. |

thanks for all the posts and different views, yes communication error is correct, i was switched, didn't know if it was auto the first time, the second time i knew it was an admin, but i do not like i said play ct. but before i was switched the first time it would have been nice to get a warning from the admin either fetus or droid, hey we will swap you to ct and see how that works out, but none of that happened, if so i coudl have just said please dont, if you must then i will leave and then it wil be i assume easier on the ct's with one less player on ts. but no warning was given it was just dropped on me. and waht did someone say ranks stats take a beating, they do, i have gone under postiive a lot lately going for knives and using differnt guns, but one thing i dont like is playing ct, so i can even teams out by leaving, and alex u said,

well im not skillled on ct at all, it feels weird coming in thru garage or front office windows instead of by projector or long hall, i just dont feel right. plus my hacks dont work on ct, MENK!! lol, not really that funny. repuatation, i dont have a repuation of being good, goose does, fetus does, nuttymc |

I think a warning is fair. I was in the same sort of situation tonight and asked (you were there, kern) if one of our illustrious T's would switch, especially one of the guys with an approximate 2:1 KDR. I'm not talking about 8/4... 65/32, or 42/20! Granted, the person that swapped was an admin (middleman) it still went over pretty well by just asking.

It's a crazy thing, but sometimes admins play. In fact, most of us try to play and admin at the same time. I've never put a priority on admins spec'ing because who the fuck wants to do that? It's volunteer work and no one gets paid for it so I completely understand having to balance admin duties and actually having fun by playing at the same time. I even put a premium on that compared to someone who pouts that he gets swapped to CT when all he really wants to do is stab people as a T.
Speaking of which, tell your idiot clanmate or whatever he is, "abuse," to realize that when there are not any admins on the same team as his we're not always privy to TK'ing. That guy is a fucking idiot. He sits there and doesn't say a fucking word about getting TK'ed five times (his lies, not mine) until he joins the team I'm on. Brilliant.

What happened to your ego? You were a total cocksmith a few weeks about your uber KDR that you got since stats reset. Sorry to say, but you don't seem cut out for the whole "humility" thing. It just doesn't seem like a fit with your personality.

The intention of my last post in this thread was trying to give you some credit, but I don't really care at this point. I think it would physically kill you to apologize or show an inkling of humility. Your attitude sucks. If you want to fix this then be creative. What you've done so far isn't working.

So i had no idea he was going to switch you. And as far as i go, if an admin seems to have a plan to balance teams or any other minor detail (minor as in not a hacking, racism, ect. violation) then i let them divy cash/health and swap and i stay out of it unless they ask for help. And on this night aborted seemed to have it covered and i only did a small amount here and there during his smoke break. But that's how i am so that things don't get crossed. So i really didn't see the need for the assault before you left. I am with kernal on the part about how this has nothing to do with his previous offenses and i think some of you are reaching here just because you don't like him. But i have to agree with alexh and others that assaulting the admins before you left wasn't the best way to handle this. You never to my knowledge tried to talk to fetus about why he was switching you. And i also agree that people in general (includeing you) need to be able to suck up playing on another team if things get stacked (i've had this problem with plenty of people not just kernel). Maybe it's because i've learned to be decent on both T and CT that i don't care as much as most much of the time, but again it's how i am. |

The shit keeps 'stacking' higher with this guy. How many chances are needed before he gets a clue? I'm sure that he would have been banned a long time ago, had it not been for the 'FT second chance policy'. Other servers don't put up with this shit because they just perma ban the problem and that is a sufficient means to end the strife. Clearly Kernell has shown that he doesn't give a shit and he takes the community's lienience for granted. He's flossin' around in (what he percieves to be) a cape of invincibility and his rash disregard for policy and authority shows that he's a complete and utter douche-nugget. We'll see if he appologizes again, because that would be funny and extremely played-out. now a respected player an admin by the name of bubble goose, posted that above comment, would i aplogize after that. Hence forth, kernel, when you and I are on the server and Ts are stacked, you will have to go to “time outâ€. When server is not full, and Ts are stacked, I will move you to Spectator (with or without warning). You may not resume playing until I have explicitly stated, over admin text, “Teams have evened out. Kernel, you may play.†If you leave spectator, and join T before I have indicated that you may, it will be viewed as a direct violation of an admin command (a punishable offense). When the server is full, and Ts are stacked, I will kick you (with or without warning). You may rejoin the server in 15 minute increments to see if teams have evened out. I like playing on a full server and not an empty one. I enjoy playing on a full, smoothly ran server. When someone jeopardizes that, I will punish him/her with extreme prejudice. I will not allow anyone to cause people to want to leave the server because teams are fucked. Not on my watch. Kernel, when I’m around, and you don’t follow these steps, I will punish you. It’s as simple as that. Then, you will have to come to forums, explain that you don’t like to help even teams and you disobeyed a direct admin command and need someone to unban you. I want to make sure, kernel, that you are clear on all of the above. Or, kernel, you could do everyone a favor and simply go play on CT for 5-10 minutes every now and then and disregard everything I have said here. The choice is yours. im sure when ts are pwn, im the only one who is doing it, if iwas off the team the ct's would have a chance. thanks for making me feel like im the best player on t ever. i can't believe i stack it so well. an those rhymes, thanks they will help out. you have all the solutions, thanks for making fish tank the best office 24/7 server. without u ft would not exist, you come up with great things to say. one small indident when u can't control your temper, u come up with this spend more time working on your headshot then trying to save the ct's from my great skill becasue i do stck the t side so well right.... | ||

Ive witnessed all of this bitching about getting team switched by him before. Its not just a one time thing. And to be sure of it, it does sort of get on my nerve. There is a reason that Kernel cannot play CT and for good reason. Kernel doesnt rush 75 to 80 percent of the time, he camps, waits for some poor bastard to come, and rapes them with a knife. You'll see him in cabinets alot of the time. He camps long hall with me. I think you should be getting the point now. He cant play CT because he has an objective to do, which he cannot do because he camps most of the time. Now, if you want to switch someone, switch someone other then Kernel because he cant do CT because he camps. It IS bullshit and i dont like the concept of someone not playing CT either. But even then Kernel, I think you should come on a couple nights and play CT just to get used to it so your in satisfyment of the admins. It really is bullshit not volunteering to switch for an admin considering your weakness is playing on that side. Its either you get what you want, or people leave because they cant beat the stacked team. |

nightrider, do u think everyone who plays in the FT server should be thinking about "satisfyment of the admins" not me. Admins are just like us, they just have power. Should they satify the players in their servers? I think the kernel bashing is getting out of hand. Ever since Amped started a thread about me in a complaint, people have only had bad things to say. Before that, when Driez said I was a racist, it didn't really matter to people, they sid oh thats bad and they will do something about it, but I was never even notified of it. Dreiz,u dirty Menk!! What does that say? Me swapping teams is worse then me susposedly being racist. I do not understand why the AF and AP, come up with all these things to say and to go back and forth with me. After reading the posts from AF and AP, and a lot of other admins, I feel Im bringing FT to and end should I be banned already? I mean the 2nd big reply fetus had maybe the 3rd with the rhyme in it. That well, unnecessary. WTF were u thinking? Trying to get a few laughs? Do u have a record deal? BLOW ME!! MENK ME! BAN ME!! Im doing to much harm and brining down this great fish tank clan. |
