- Because when I'm sitting at work, he's sitting in office by himself. - This shows that he actually has more hours unaccounted for than what HLStatsX shows. - Yes, I have surfed with him in the surf server. He does suck, but he enjoys playing with the people of this community. - Our community is starting back up. We need people to 'jump' start it. I concur this doesn't mean vote everyone in, but he is well past the requirements. - I was voted in and I wasn't too far off of the requirements at the time. Granted, they were 100 hours and 30 posts, so everyone knew me. If we wanted to go off this basis, then we should go back to the drawing board and vote on 100 hours and 30 posts. - This is fucking retarded, and I should be able to post this in the nomination thread without editing my post 1,000 times or worrying about it being deleted, considering these were rebuttal points. - You can bet your sorry ass that this will get old for me quick, and a nomination to append the rule will be up in less than a week or after the next couple of nominations. |

To be fair, the rules for proposals are to just type yes or no, and a second thread is supposed to be made to discuss points for or against, of necessary. That said, I think I've been swayed to vote yes. |

Well stated. And this kind of post should be allowed in the nomination thread...i dont see why not. I do not know what Bandito deleted but something along these lines should be ok. It would be common courtesy for any admin who deletes a thread (other than a bot spamming) to state why they deleted it. We need to have some sort of accountability... | ||

Kcow, you said exactly what I wanted to say, just in so much better wording. Why the fuck would you guys not vote this guy in? He clearly loves our clan and would represent us well. Were trying to revive ourselves here and people like Cove are the ones we need. This is a damn CSS clan. |

See, I honestly don't know if he is cool. I've seen some post, but they haven't really been full with personality. It's hard to get a feel from him based on his forum activity and I wish he would be more active on the forums themselves. This is just me, but my reasoning stands is the minimum is more a fail safe if we need new members and activity, but we're plenty active. We have around 30 active members which is huge, and a bunch more regulars. Why should we strive for the minimum when we could strive for the best. I think the minimum should be upgraded because I think this is too soon. He's been here for one month and ten days. Most of us played on the servers for 3+ months before even being a second thought back in the day. Like I've said multiple times, I have no issues with Fisherman, I have issues with the way the system is, which I didn't think I'd have. Let's look at the past 4 votes to go through, Alex, Knight, Therapist and Rezerko. They are all returning members, and have less constraints to get back in, but they were all over the minimum of new members. Now lets look at Vectorman. So many people made a big deal about him being in FT, but honestly, he was more FT than a lot of people here. He stuck with us through the worst times when we were nothing, but there he was. I think forum participation should be upped big time to 100 posts easy, maybe more, and not empty posts either, I'm talking relevant posts, posts that help us get to know what you're really about. Put your personality in every one of your post and people who don't play one server or the other won't have to give a no vote because they end up never getting to play with them. |
