I have no idea how my good name got dragged through this mud. But, I digress. In all seriousness, however, since I am the godfather of this issue, I figure I’ll respond. This issue has been hotly debated several times on forums. Originally, it was because of my sprays, which, by the way, made the goatse spray look like a picture found on a pre-school lunch box. In other words, my sprays took the fucking cake. After much discussion, the players of FTC decided that it would be in the best interest of the server to discourage such sprays. Personally, when I am blowing people’s heads off in a violent video game, I really couldn’t care less what is being sprayed on the walls. However, people do complain and the complaints can translate to the focus being taken away from the game, as well as people leaving the server. Though I don’t care what people spray on the walls, I do care when people leave because of it. So, yes, we do discourage offensive sprays; not because we are taking any kind of a moral highroad, but rather because we like playing on a full server. Nightrider wrote ... Dude, everyone calm down. If female on male sprays are ok, does it matter if the majority of the focus is on the male? That is, let’s say there is a picture of a woman having sex with a man, but the foreground of the picture is dedicated to the male and his towering manhood, and, in the background, out of focus, is the woman. Would that be ok? What if the man takes up 80% of the picture and the woman takes up 20%? What about two guys and one female (of course the two men would be at opposite ends so as to not get in a sword fight)? |
