Okay, this is a time and place where we need to come together as a clan, meaning, bringing out its meaning. If you hadnt read any of Bubble's threads or cared to read them, then why are you in the clan? Honestly, if you wanted in here you have to take part in what is going on and read. This is fucking pissing me off to no end. The constant fighting and bullshit that is going over this does not need to be happening. In fact, if at least 40 percent of the people would have gave back some input, then maybe this wouldnt be going on. I joined this clan because I saw it as an opportunity to see people act as a community. This doesnt look like it did even a month ago. You people need to stop being so damn lazy and actually read what is going on. If we dont express our opinions on something, how are we supposed to act as a clan? It honestly looks like there is only 5 people that know what is going on. The future of our clan is in all of our hands and we need to voice ourselves now on what we should run it as. Now, look what you fucking did to Bubble. I can understand why he is pissed off, because like me, he's pissed off that he has to type so damn much for almost noone to pay attention to it. Now I know, that 80 percent of the clan is not going to read this either. Its either we all come together like we joined FT for, or honestly take no part in the clan at all. At least thats the way I see it, and thats the way others see it. All of this shit that has been going on with no feedback from members is pissing me off really bad. I can understand some that have time but when people dont take the time to read something someone put alot of thought into then what business do you have being in the clan. |

Agreed. Without input from more than a few people, we cant effectively make a voting system. We either need to all vote, or we need to force a new set of voting rules. Post on some god damn forums! Oh yeah, and matchlight charcoal is great... Im gunna cook out like a bitch! |

I must admit, I didn't read the latest of Bubbles posts (I DID read the previous ones, but didn't reply due to me needing some time to think and make an intelligent comment) because I was busy at the time, and I confess I have not gotten around to reading it yet. I agree partly but not all of it. I dont really know how many people are reading and jsut see nothign to add or just plain dont read. I cant speak for others but I can say I for one dont really say much of anythign unless I got something I feel is important to say (or funny). Though if we are going to go on the subject of peopel not reading I cant see any evdance that anyone ever reads what I say including bubble goose only time I ever get a responce to anythign at all was in the thread to destroy our old voting system. People in glass houses shoulndt throw stones and if I dont see responces under your logic I should assume bubble goose dosent even manage to read my post which was 1/3 his at best. So under that assumption that would make him a hypocrit. Also it would seem form my perspective as well that I never get heard since often times when I post it is to show a diffrence of opinion from the perosn who made the thread and I still dont get responce from the person who has a diffrent idea. On top of that I feel that I put in my imput with the makign thread of it which was I didtn have any problems with the idea for the system. So naturaly when there is a thread to make amendments to the system and I was perfictly fine with the system. Please oh god tell me what I could posibly have to add there? Abslutely nothing becouse I had no problem to begin with. Really I think a big part of the problem with the voting system changes is the creaters. It;s not that they don't make good systems but it's that they dont feell theyget suficent feed back, or feel it is to complex, or whatever they cant let good enough be and so they seek to destroy what they create. Personally that pisses me off to see that wasted effort. Maybe a lot of the problem is lack of reading but I think that if oyur gogin to complain abotu reading you should respond to all comment made towards you other wise your in a glass house chucking stones. Also you asked why the fuck am I here? I am here becouse I liek the peopel and the general way this clan works. I Enjoy playing on the servers and talking with the poepel that are associated with it. Now I can throw that back why the fuck are you here? Is to raise pointless drama when oyu dont get a good job every time you type a letter on the keyboard? To it all up in nice bulltens for those that hate reading. 1) IF your gogin to complain about reading then read everything and respond in like. 2) If you dont read then start reading and put any opinions if nessary. 3) Stop being whinny about lack of input maybe there isnt any becouse you did a good job and they dont feel there is a need for change. If I have something to say you'll hear it. If I don't want to say anything, you can't force me to. Wanna know how I vote people into the clan, I support the people I like the whole way, ignore the fucktards I don't like, and play the game with the ones I don't know. If I want somethnig done then I do what I have to do. Go ahead and complain that something is hard or drawn out or not efficient. The whole time you complained you coulda went through the steps to get it done. I'm not some kind of fucking bureaucrat that wants to optimize everything. I leave the inner workings to the inner members. I'm here to play the game, enjoy myself, and joke with people I'll never get meet in my entire life. And honestly that's why I like this clan, the hodgepodge of people coming together and playing a game we all enjoy. You want more people's opinions then ask them while they're playing the fucking game. That's my main source of news in this clan. Someone says yo wolf did you vote on so and so? Or yo fucker what do you think about (insert hot topic.) And if I didn't know then I get told to check the site. Hey and guess what I do, I check the fucking site and if I care to give my opinion then you see my crummy avatar and cheesy sig the next time you check it. | ||

You guys dont see the point that Im trying to make. Its not like I am forcing you to respond to everything that is posted. This is vital for us. You dont see the legitemancy of what this means. I wanted your input on this because this is a major fundamental of the clan. Everyone should have to vote on this, and everyone should put their input in on something. Im sick of people just looking at the thread and having the lack of response for it. Even if you have 1 thing you have to say about something, say it God dammit. We want to hear what you have to say. You said that I should give things a chance? Why should Bubble give things a chance when nobody cares to read them? How are they supposed to know about the voting system when they dont read it? Do you see what Im tryting to tell you? This is so in the future when a problem comes up with the system we dont have to have someone point out a flaw and then the one person say that they are confused on the voting system. All Im trying to do is prevent future dilemas so that we dont have to have another Bobby Digital case. You dont see that though, and thats what Im trying to fix right now. That is the whole reason that the old voting system was abolished, primarily because of that. So when you want to tell me that Im raising drama your wrong. Im not here to raise drama. Im here to alert you of what the fuck is going on. Its not just you that is rediculed Pocky, its others that need to step in. And there is no "inner" members. All of the members are the same. A clan requirement that was discussed in the rules, which btw I can tell you did not read them because its firmly in there, is that you have to be active on the forums. Once again, Im trying to get that through people's heads. This isnt just any old problem, this is the future of the clan. You people have to understand that. |

My understanding is that the social clan has been OK so far with people that just play. We've got several regulars that put in lots of time making sure our servers actually have people playing on them, and I would not ask them to do anything more. Until there are requirements of forum participation then please take a moment to thank our members that contribute in ways other than forum posts. Nightrider wrote ... He should have known this for a while -- we've got lots of members that are content to just watch or find something better to do than get mired in forums. You have a very narrow perspective of what it means to "take part in the clan." Having people playing on our servers is the bread and butter of what makes the social clan. I think the problem is people chime in after a long post, or a series of posts, and don't go through any of the effort to explain their positions. It's not easy to assign blame when this happens... sometimes the post is just too long and rehashes the same shit over and over again, and sometimes the one line replies should never have been posted at all. Again, I'm not trying to float my own boat here, Pocky, but my system pwned you even with it's dying breath. If you're going to participate in a long post then please try to match as much of the authors effort/enthusiasm as you can. 2. If you're the author of a long post please try to have a clear and concise goal for the discussion. Some topics don't warrant several thousand word posts, so do. 3. If you disagree with someone, and are not sure how to post your disagreement constructively then avoid shitty one-liners. 4. If you want to hold people accountable to a certain level of involement with forums then good luck... it's never been a rule so far and I don't see that changing anytime soon. |
