| WE HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS | ||

We have some SERIOUS PROBLEMS in our clan: WE NEED TO WORK ON TEAMWORK!!! I just spent half an hour trying to tell people TO STAY TOGETHER. We had 6 people going one way and 4 people going 1 way and 2 going the other way. WE CANT DO THIS!!! We need to learn how to stay together as a team, and use strategies (hence my other topic), because i am sick of getting raped by a whole team with nobody to back us up. ANOTHER PROBLEM: NOBODY IS DOING THE OBJECTIVE! Numerous times i saw people with the bomb going through the middle. DONT DO THAT PERIOD! IT IS INFESTED WITH AWPS AND YOU WILL DIE!. And that is another problem. STOP AWPING THE MIDDLE!!! People awping the middle are risking their lives because they dont have a 360 degree view through the scope. So please, for the sake of the team, DONT AWP THE MIDDLE. |

AWPing the middle is a part of EVERY CaL match on D2. You won't escape it, and it's nesesary to see where the ct's are going and maybe even pick a couple of them off. Also, people going through the middle with bomb isn't bad, as long as their either doing an around the world , short b (via tunnels) or short a Edited Thu Nov 02 2006, 12:33AM |

or they oculd take advantage of the shoot delay and the long time between shots of a awp and shoot them in the face that always works out well for me. nothing is more fun then out sniping a awper with a pistol. | ||

yes, you need to stay together on a map like d2, especially if you are CT, I explain it this way: you split up, they dont, that mean its half of you vs all of them, so they rape you, now its the other half of you vs nearly all of them, no bueno. As to awping down the middle, its not a bad thing, just get a better awper : ) | ||

If you stay together as CT's you are a moronic team. You don't get outnumberd, you simply wait for the backup so everyone knows what site the T's are going to. | ||

A T or CT is supposed to awp the middle. The only reason you dont awp the middle is if you dont have any good skills with the awp. An experianced player with it will do good with it. Most people will smoke the middle in a match if they are T to not let the CT know where they are rushing. Try a delayed rush to one side, or have one person go and make noise at one bomb site and the rest rush the other side once he dies. It works well in scrimmages for me, and it should work for you. Awping the middle is vital though. | ||

Before i read the whole thread emerican i know you are talking about our game on d2 earlier. First off we were CT. If you put all 6 of us at B, who is watching A? If we all rush mid, who is watching either site? The way to go is to split the team, 3 to b 3 to a, and let the terrorists come to us. That's exactly why when you and your squad of cts rushed mid and me and whoever was with me at a got owned by the ts who were rushing long a every round. We told you they went a 90% of the time but you still insisted in rushing or camping B with the whole team. Come to practice some time and you will see that we split the team to cover all sites when playing ct. When playing T, thats when you want to stick together as a team, which we do. In a pub you can't control everyone like it's a cal match, scrim, or even practice. Pubbing is for everyone to enjoy a good, fun game of cs. |

trust me, i wish i could practice. i dont recall you saying once to go a (or maybe i just didnt see you say it), but most of the time we went b we did pretty well. one time we had it perfect (im referring to the strategy i posted for cts), i saw 2 people go a (1 with awp), while the rest of us went b, and we ended up kicking ass. i wasnt trying to focus on strategys tonight, i was trying to focus on teamwork, because even if it is a pub you still need teamwork. |
