I think Dust 2 would be the best idea. It's much easier to attract players, and I like the idea of sticking to the FT 24/7 server thing. 24/7 office, 24/7 surf, 24/7 dust 2, you get my idea. We tried rotation, didn't work out too well in the end. |

I had been discussing a server with Alex and a few people in game. Jigg and I had thrown around the idea of getting a server together as well. I knew that Night was considering the same thing and that Titties was thinking about starting an Assault server. I kept hearing from everyone that a new server might take away regulars from Office and Surf. I'm not sure how that plays into decisions. Alex had said that since FTC is well trafficed that there is the possibility to draw a crowd of new players who take some time away from our servers to play maps like Dust2 and such. My vote would go for Dust2. Like I said Night, Jigg and I would be willing to get the server either with you or pick it up if for some reason you couldn't. I would also like to add that if everyone likes scoutknivez so much then what is stopping us from having two maps on the server? Surf has multiple maps. I know they are all Surf but still. If a bunch of people want to go to scoutknivez then either have an admin change it or bring up a vote and change the map. I understand that some people might leave if they only wanted to play Dust2 or whatever the server was meant for but it might bring about a compromise that everyone can live with. Just a thought.

I like Dust2 also, because if we get regulars there, then it is possible that those regulars would fill in for the other ones that had came to Dust2. People want different things, and the only thing I'm worried about for Scoutzknives is that people get bored of the map real quick. I've seen servers last about a month before they go down that run on that map. It's a good map also, so I might consider putting it in with Dust2 as a possible vote map. If the vote passes, then people will play that. It all depends on the crowd, and that's how I kind of want it to go. If someone else buys the server, they can do what they wish. I think I've already made up my mind for what I want. I might even try Dust1 since I know that a balanced amount of people still play that server. It all depends on the first or second month, of what I'll keep or not. | ||

Sure, do scoutzknivez if you want to have the same 6 people always playing on your server, not to mention NO chance to have it flourishing at night. Rotation would attract the most people and be the most fun but you have to choose your maps wisely. If not Rotation, then Dust 2 would be the other choice. Assault third. Scoutzknivez would be decent for a server that only allows a small number of people but if you plan to make a 22+ slot server I think you should go with Rotation or Dust 2. if you plan to get 26+ server maybe you could throw Zombie servers into the mix, as they tend to attract. |

I agree, except for zombie servers. zombie servers suck ass, and deserve to die a painful death. |

ok since i told night that if he brought back a dust server i would help him pay for it. I said that logn time ago. Now, scoutz knivez is great. i luv that map. And it will get me as good as bubble lol. But, it wont attract too many ppl, because after a while of playing on it. it tends to die down. If you really want ppl playing ont he server, go with Dust2 or wat i have seen Dust1 and Dust2 rotation servers do very well. My vote is for Dust1 and 2 rotation. If someone wants to do an Assault Server, they could put scoutz knivez on there. I think those two maps would go very well. We would have : 24/7 Fish Tank Classic 24/7 Fish Tank Surf 24/7 Fish Tank Dust1 & 2 24/7 Fish Tank Assault & ScoutzKnivez also wondering... We have Surf members called F7L5 And ive seen grif on with FTc for fish tank classic how bout we change shit up for different servers. Dust server clan called FTd lol haha or something different gets some more variety. Just a thought. Assault server FTa or something different. Anywayz... i told night i WILL help pay for the server. Ill even go half and half. I dont know how to OP so thats not for me. But Night get back to me to let me know wat ur doing. Im with Emerican on this one. Dust rocks my socks. Like Office... the classic... Dust is almost just as much a classic |
