Man, I am really pleased that this thread has been such a hit. It’s kind of fun to get to know what people are like outside the game. Because I didn’t go into as much depth as some others, I’m going to add a little more about myself. Etymology of Aborted Fetus… Many people, over the years, have asked me about my handle. When I first got into FPS games around 1999-2000, I mainly played things like CS and Soldier of Fortune. I always thought it was funny that some people on these games went to great lengths to make themselves seem like badasses via their handle. I would always see names like “Elite Sniper”, “Capt. Killer”. This used to make me laugh. So, I went in the other direction and thought it was funny to have socially offensive names…hence Aborted Fetus. It doesn’t get much more offensive than that. But at that time, we were wrapping up the Clinton Era, and people were more laid back then and no one really seemed to care about my name. So, I just kept it. Now, however, when I join some (non-community) servers, I get a lot of shit. Can you believe that I actually had someone once tell me to change my name because it was “a Christian server?” Nothing against religion, but come on, that has to make you laugh that a violent, bloody videogame is being played in a Christian atmosphere. Man, it’s funny to think that I have been Aborted Fetus since some of you were still trick-or-treating. Though I have gone to great lengths to make people in the community think I am gay, actually I’m not (sorry Goose, Wulf). I’m engaged to my girlfriend of five years, and we are getting married this summer. |

Anyway... I shouldn't be posting this late. anyway... Name's Dave. Nostie was the name of an old Socom II clan i was in with my brother and a few other people. i've had a girlfriend for 14-15 months and I've never had anyone cry and whine so many fucking times in my life. Please, don't have a girlfriend until you absolutely MUST! Umm... My one and only favorite band is Dave Matthews. I'll listen to any 90's and 00's rock ( if its not emo) I like any movie. literally. If its longer than an hour I get addicted. I don't do my homework outside of school. I finish assignments in my resource (free) block and in other classes/lunch. I purposely post a lot so that I get more stars and i can become a 1337 h4xx0r. I still haven't! I was an FTer a long time ago (9? months) and i enjoyed jerking off Kamikazi, Omega, Kremit, IAN! WHERE'S IAN?! etc... My avatar is my eye... very blue. i like that picture... I'm currently in a webscripting class and i'm learning javascript at the moment. I'm re-formatting/re-making the site -[link]- If my group wins the "competition" thingy then our site will be displayed on that site. meh its kinda late but Ill post something, I can always post more later. My real name is Rowan, kinda wierd, i know. I live in the Bay Area (Northern California) I was born in Wales (a little country next to England) From there I moved to England and lived around London and South End till i was 9 when I moved the Cali. As to gaming ive played a huge variety of games, from playing Civilization when i was younger to FPS, RPG's and all sorts inbetween. Im pretty good at most games, although not great at console games. As to CSS i started a while after source came out and started at a server with the EGGZ clan, where i became quite 1337. Then I found the fishtank and go Omni playing css. From then on I did really well for a while and now i got from being great to sucking terribly : ( I seem to have had alot of drama on FTC which is a shame but ive loved playing here and met alot of interesting personalities. If you were wondering about me an Omni we have known eachother since 6th grade and are practically brothers. I also know Cinnabun and XSV as we all live in the same town. Uhhh interests-Paintball(when i can) soccer, martial arts, cars, etc. uhh if you wanna kno more just ask lol | ||

little late but better late than never, hu? first of all, i was born in Marin County at Marin General hospital in '89. sense then i have barely left the state and have never been on a plane, train, or a boat (other than a ferry across the bay). land lover i know  well, no, not really, it is just that the opportunity hasn't presented itself. i have a younger brother named Ross, you all probably know him as XSV. he has stopped playing and now spends his time doing nothing! my absolute biggest interest is Star Wars, ever sense i saw the original "A New Hope" I've been interested in the idea, characters and storyline. however it was not until Episode III did i really fall in love with it. sense then i have started reading the books and researching. i buy books about the planets and weapons the people and the games, ohhh the Star wars games, while there are many, only a select few are actually worth playing. these include Battlefront one and two and Shadows of the Empire (N64, still haven't beaten it o.0). one of the projects that i have been working on can be found at this link: -[link]- . another interest of mine is Plants, i actually work at a flower store and have been around them sense i was two years old. like omega, i LOVE paintball, but i am currently not playing, i am working toward getting a car/license. i too like omega like cars, but not American cars or trucks, not even 95% of SUVs imports, street racing etc. i also know omega. we are a great duo, we have played a handful of games together strting from classics on the N64. our original addiction i was Perfect Dark, if the makers of that game got payed by the hour of play the buyer puts in then they would be billionaires from us two. we also played blitz and super smash brothers. from N64 we went to PlayStation and got our fill of time splitters, the bouncer, Forza, need for speed, dynasty warriors, and 007. then came the X-box, we spent only a little time on this before CSS, that is probably why we still play Halo2 from time to time. btw, i really like battlefront 2 i can beat any of you at that game! so bring it on! lastly i want to say that i own/pwn omega at all other games except CS:S...
