nuclear fallout servers are always nice. And if we are going to have an open one people need to realize we are going to have to password it when ever we need to use it. | ||

i shopped around for a bit and found these sites: -[link]- the one above is the most promising imo (omega it is the one we used with dstR.) -[link]- (otions and reliability, but at a premium) -[link]- (good price etc.) -[link]- (free vent and free stats, reasonable price) -[link]- (free vent, reasonable pricing) -[link]- (simple and straight forward) other sites were over-priced, shady, or in other currency. fallout or gameservers? |

Some of the other sites look kinda sketchy, and artofwar is total crap from my past experience with them (two servers, two different datacenters--both sucked). The only thing that doesn't look good about nuclearfallout.net is that it reminds me of recongamer.com with included web hosting, subdomain, etc. It doesn't make sense to pay for that stuff if we're not going to use it; however, it is included with the price of all their rentals. Same thing goes for stats as I can provide whatever stats sites you want (if that's even important to you). I'd say gameservers.com is our best bet out of what you list, but... If you think it's worth the extra cost then we may want to with nuclearfallout. And yes, I think tourney clan business should always take priority. Actually alex to tell you the truth, my friend just told me we could use it. I think he uses it for his wow buddies i think, but he already made a channel for Omni and the Cal shit. | ||

I like the idea of getting up another rotation and completive server. Though personally I think that it may be a waste of money due to past failure. Every time we get up and look like we got a lot of interest and enthusiasm about these particular topics for some reason we don't see the same amount of participation when the servers acully come up. I don't mean to rain on any parades but if the past has any effect on the future then I see another failure..... That being said I am interested in both of these ideas and would like to tryout for our competitive. I really would like to see it work out this time and prove me wrong. |
