Ok, the Matador thread is getting too out of hand. Too many personal attacks etc, and we cannot lock the thread as it is a proposal. Here is a thread, spill your guts, PLEASE TRY NOT TO FLAME. Reasons for this thread: Obviously a lot of you have a problem with me, instead of attacking me for having admin, etc, please discuss your thoughts. "OWNED ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL Get out Steel, he's 100% right on this one." -Nostie. Nostie, if you had read the other posts it said stay on topic. You NEVER play on FTC, you don't know what is happening, so why would you vote? Oh right, because you see posts from other people and you believe them because they're your long time friends. Don't believe everything you hear, and I am not saying that I am right all the time, I am just requesting that you do some reasearch and actually pay attention to both sides of the story. I believe that I should have access in the community forums so if this does get out of hand I can lock, and I am trusting that if I am not around when it gets out of hand, somebody else has the courtesy to stop it. Stop making attacks on me in the Matador thread, that is a separate issue. |

The personal attacks on Steel in the aforementioned thread are uncalled for. We may not always agree, but we need to respect each other's opinions. Though I voted not to remove Matador, I think that it took a lot of courage for Steel to make a stand and back up his points. The name calling and personal slams are ridiculous and need to end. We are a community and we need to respect differing opinions and views. What Steel did took a lot of guts. He opened up discussion on a highly controversial subject. This was a great opportunity for us to discuss some issues that affect the clan. Unfortunately, all we did was take the opportunity to pull punches and slam one another. Steel i still dont agree with the mentioned thread but in my opinion i made some personal attacks. I AM SORRY. they were uncalled for. i was having a shitty day and when i saw the thread i was in shock and enraged. I agree with fetus that we should not be making personal attacks on steel. he to is part of this community and very needed. (by the way i needed you earlier today, see my tker thread steel) he is a very active admin who in the past was hasty with punishment but lately ive seen a turn around with the warnings. (PATS ON BACK) i hope you accept this apology and we can get past this whole crazy mess. FETUS MAKES ME HORNEY. Ps. Fetus should i meet you say 1 o clock for the sex or should we resceduale. it is kinda late or are you up for my wildness. |

Legit post, Monster, but I have always warned, I have just been skeptical of over-using Admin Chat in the past. Now that I set up binds for the MOTD rules I am getting mixed emotions as well. Some say I am "spamming" them and it is interrupting their gameplay and annoying, while others think that it's good for quick warning. I received your PM when I returned home at approx 4:30PM but the time sent was 1:30, so I wrote in chatbox... steel in no way do i have anything against you. i only had a problem with the way you presented the issue and dealt it to us. in my opinion, as well as a few others, you seemed way out of line with not much cold hard evidence to back your views up. because of that i felt matador was injustly being voted out, therefore my hard response in defending him. i respect your rights to post the thread and you have every right to do so. The personal attacks against everybody were rather annoying b/c flaming on the internet is so ridiculous...anyways on to the entire Matador issue while I applaud you for having the guts to bring up an obviously controversial issue because many people do not, like was obvious in my posts I did not agree with the termination. I think that what happened with Mikey B a while back left a bad taste in quite a few people's mouths and because of the fact that Matador associates with Mikey B and can have an abrasive personality this bad taste that was left was chosen to have it taken out on him. Onto this entire Ti being banned or whatever from the FT community...I hope that this never comes to pass because of the fact that one of the reasons people like myself joined [FT] was the fact that it was a chill social clan that we could be a part of and not have to worry about super obsessive elitists and if Ti is banned from the FT community that goes against at least one of the main things I joined [FT] for and it would greatly upset at least me because that would mean that I would have to choose whether I wanted to go completely competetive or completely chill and I like both. So please lets just let this Matador proposal run its course and then lets clean up the aftermath left by it and move on. Jesus Post Scriptum(P.S.) Hope this makes sense my brain is really jumbled right now if there is any confusion just ask me to clarify and I will. |
