Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I think the example of L3muR was the only scenario. I mean we KNEW he had bumped those threads, we didnt have to go far to look for them. Im sure in the future we will know if candidates for nomination fit the requirement or not, and if we feel like they are on the face, we can check them out. the whole thing of getting nominated is, you have to be liked, by the community, and be active. We will notice how active they are, and if we like them, and if not, we will look through the shit and judge them, endo storio eh

Negative. There was PunK that did it, and I'm sure a majority of other people that I cannot think of. Fetus, that would be a good idea, but the idea of it like I said was to get to know the person better. I dunno, it's going to be hard finding an alternative requirement for new people to get into the clan. Another thing about the 30 posts is that it is turnoffs to some people who just don't care, and that keeps our already too many members down.

Yeah, doing away with the introduction would be bad. I guess the problem can be solved if you note it to the person that makes the intro. So there is no point in this proposal really. Thread locked.

sry i had to unlock this night I think this needs more discusion. I think that a intro should be a definite requirement to join the clan but the post should be lower. maybe we should raise the hours to 150 with no post and 100 hours with 30 post. 150hrs. aint much if you plan on being here in the clan. Just a thought. Just look at kever sry to use you as a example kever but a person like her is known by many FT members and she would be clan material but noone can nominate her because she may not be able to post much because of the immaturity. So she automatically can't be in because she can't get enough mature post to reach 30, she has to post under the radar to gain post. But some poeple just like the clan and community as far as office not surf or competitive. Or some poeple dedicate there time to stictly playing and chating in game and don't have time for the forums. I for one suck at typing (not hard to tell) so for me it was hard to stay in the forums. But as I got in the clan I learned to type alittle better and started making more post and involving myself in the community more. After I got in, my next few post where about people disrupting the game and hacking sooo, from there I started noticing threads that i could add my 2cents too and from there yall created a titty monster lol. The moral of the story is forum post don't make the member, most of our new members since the forum post rule still left just as fast as some of the members that didn't have to post. The clan and the persons willingness to participate is what makes the clanmate IMO Edited Wed Aug 22 2007, 10:09PM |

well i kinda agree with tits on a couple points i mean i figured the requirement for forum posts was there to encourage ppl to particiepate in forums, not force them to. Considering the majority of ppl here are old enough to make reasonable decisions, i think ppl are also old enough to make posts becuase they feel to make posts or speak there mind. Yea ppl can nominate whomever they want, but i would imagine that as a community people can make a decision to vote yes or no depending on the relationship between the person being nominated and themself. A relationship cant be built if someone posts random one-liners that gives no real personal output. Im not sayin abolish the minumun rule only becuase it gives a little bit of structure towards nominations and such but i dont think the rule deserves the amount of attention that is being given. same basic idea about how i feel about the 100hrs. requirement Edit: lolol It wasnt until rereading my post that i realized i typed " tits" with no funny meaning attached, like "tits" was the same as "professor" or " Mr. Smith" Edited Thu Aug 23 2007, 01:50AM |

unfortunately, I wanted to nominate Kever, because shes a bigger member of this community then we realize. but as Titties said, with such requirements, and unforunate behavior, she feels embarrassed and shy to post, thus making her ineligible to be nominated at all. But seriously, idk, not to sound like a gay fag. but recently before I got nommed, I felt like all I had done was a waste of time. I had 175 hours of game time(on only FTC) and nearly 350 posts and I STILL hadnt gotten nominated yet. I was really about to give up. I only kept trying, why? becuase I WAS a member of the community at that time, I was just aggravated. I made an attempt to be part of this community because I truly wanted it. most new comers would have given up long before me, because to some, forum use just isnt worth it I cant think of alternatives, because idk, its worked so far, and we have solid people in this community. I just dont see how its fair that someone like Kever who has been here longer then most people, who wants to be in FT, cant because she is insulted by most, and most people make it so she cant use forums. Plus, if you wanted to be in a clan, where there are 8 threads regarding your skills as "hacking", would you want to post? I like the sound of change, just cant think of anything in mind yet |

Heh, until I nominated you, Zero Yeah, doing away with the post req would be aight, but definitely require an intro. I expect to see a post from Bubble soon since he is the one that drafted the 30 post requirement. In response to the introduction posted, I still think we should urge possible members to post on the forums.

Ermm... How about we say: 1 - An introduction thread is mandatory for a nomination 2 - If a nominee has under the 30 miniumum post requirement then they must submit three non-spam posts per month for two months as "probation" 3 - If the new member doesn't meet the "probation requirements" then a termination thread is automatically warranted; here it is up for the members to decide whether the new guy(or gal) should stay or not because of reasonings for not meeting the "probation requirements" 4 - A player with 250+ hours is allowed to be nominated so long as they have met condition one (1) Of course, those can always be tweaked Moving to Community Forums for discussion Edited Thu Aug 23 2007, 05:54AM |
