not a bad idea. I mean, there wasnt that much confusion anywayz i believe. But it wouldnt hurt. I agree with deleting old threads. Ones that were posted like 6-8 weeks ago and r dead should be auto deleted. |

if you're talking about deleting old threads alot different forum parts have pages and pages of old threads. so maybe something should be done about that? idk how it works just thought i might bring it up | ||

Site/Head admins should make sure not to autoprune threads as was done in the past. Call me clingy if you want, but I absolutely will not tolerate losing meaningful posts again. Forum history lends itself to credibility for our organization and community--we need to hang onto it! Remember when the FT clan was revived? If you were around then of course you do. If you don't, then that's because many posts were carelessly pruned for no good reason. I'm not directing this at anyone personally but I think it's worth pointing out that mistakes were made in the past, and we need to learn from them. Other than that I think it's a brilliant idea to organize the Banned/Misconduct forum. Not so sure about deleting topics like "questions answered" etc... It's all subjective as far as what is "meaningless" but if there is any perceived potential or usefulness to a thread then I recommend leaving it as is. Maybe locking it so no one can cherry pick it without need. This topic doesn't seem to fit the specific context of FTCC. Ultimately it will be up to site/head admins to decide how the site operates. I'm not knocking a good idea, though, and I applaud Omega for bringing it up! Also, I believe nostie raised this concern, at least privately with me (and others I suppose), and I sorta slacked off. I think Wild is working on it if he hasn't already taken care of it. |

By questions answered I mean like "Does my sig work?" "does my image work" "Someone give me an IP" "testing" I too would be afraid of losing meaningful posts, but I know there are some threads that are pretty useless. Ban threads about rando's that will never come back come to mind. What ever, thats a different issue, I see we now have seperate forums, yay : ) Hope it helps. | ||
