| [moved] i need some reasurance about our voting system. | ||

Well, im jus wondering how fair and just our current voting system is right now for [FT]. i looked at glas4d's nomination and there is about 10yes' - 7 no's. When i saw this i got to thinking, what happens in any future situation where the votes are say 13 - 13? and one important vote, perhaps one of the nominee's close friends, decides if that person gets in. There is still strong resistance against this person being allowed in the clan and im wondering if it is fair for those 13 people who voted no to just sit back and accept the fact. So far, our most helpful and prominent [FT] members have gotten in on landslide victories. Seeing this also makes me wonder if people winning on close margins should still be allowed in. On a few surf votes for important changes, i've noticed simply winning the vote isn't enough, and there is a 2/3 majority vote (i think im not sure the exact number) I may get flamed for taking a stab at such a long standing and accepted principle but I've felt this way for awhile and have now just asked. Overall, i am only looking out for the best for the community. P.S.: Glas4d, this wasn't any insult to you or your nomination. i feel u would make a great asset to the community it just sparked a thought. |

I agree Also a minimum amount of time must be passed imho as well before one can get nominated. Bugs me seeing people play for so long before they get nominated, then somone who plays 3 weeks -1 month gets in. Happens quite often too. |

If you depend on a friend for a winning vote, that means you have gotten AT LEAST 4 of 7 votes, the player's friend being the 5th. Friends alone can sway it, but if 5 people want a guy in the clan and 2 don't, I think it's obvious that his personal/good friend within the community wasn't the deciding factor. I think the voting system is legit, leave it be. |
