Dang, this thread got hijacked faster than a plane in September. Anyways... I was going to step up and run the H&S server just to get it rolling and so that we could use it for the remaining few months of the contract... but to be honest, I've only played H&S mod twice (both times the map was on Office) so I don't really think I know the ins and outs of what makes a good H&S server. I'm not too familiar with what other maps it can be played on and I'm not sure as to the appropriate server set-up (roundtime, FF, freezetime?, weapon restrictions etc...) [PS: I tried to research some H&S servers in hopes of jacking their setup, but none show up in my Server List.] If Scoutznknives won the vote, I'd be all over this like white on rice because that shit is right up my alley. (Somewhat of a Scoutznknives Aficionado.)  But seeing as there is so much interest from more qualified H&S experts, I think the safer bet would be for Knight, Japa, Emer and/or Rusty to take the lead and use their H&S knowledge to make the server fun and proper. [If you need some help with Mani admin, Eventscripts/Mattie or something like that, shout me.  ]

Then who do i give the RCON and acct to? who has the most experience and who WANTS to be in charge. the subscription ends early sept. so i will taking it off my pay pal at that point. |

Now that Goose says it, I don't have much experience with Hide n Seek servers either. I have played in a few and hated it. Only reason I took interest is because it would be nice to test how running a server would be. If Hide n Seek fails, Scoutknives/awp maps fo sho! |

we have some really dedicated and i would even say experienced scout knives players here. I think we should do a vote of SK vs HS it would weed out the other options that had no chance to win and it would offer a clear cut winner. |
