Zero, thanks for making everyone leave. FT is not a WoW clan; most of us have beat our addictions to that, and relapsing is the exact opposite of what my therapist suggested. Glitch, don't stray to the Dark Side (again). A new game isn't in the best interest of the clan, much less a game that most of us despise on principal. D3 will be epic, but I don't know if our clan can transition into a completely different game like that. We want a game that we can hang out in, not spend tons of time leveling/farming/wasting our lives on. This whole "FTC needs a face-lift" thing is dumb as hell. Sure, we could make another Zombie server, or another gun game server, but if you haven't noticed, those failed way before FTC did. We aren't flashy people. FT is a clan that wants to play "normal" CS:S. If you want to talk about changing it from Office, then the only possible alternative I can think of is a rotation server. Aztec, Office, Dust2, Piranesi, Mansion, etc. A server like that would draw a lot of people in, and would be a subtle change that our members could easily acclimate to. |

i say we make Hide and Seek our main thingy...lol.. ya know... have a rotation of like 3-4 maps and thats it. Keep it simple. I must say... 14 people in it dying of laughter at 2:30 AM is something FTC did back int he day everyday. NEVER IN MY LIFE DID I LAUGH SO HARD! All i know is... 4 sofa's decided to race to CT spawn on office... and hop onto one of the CTs's shoulder hahahaha! Little keyboards and radios and phones scurrying around like mice.. chasing the CTs while the frantically try to figure out wtf is going on hahahaha. I must say.. its a relief to still have some laughter while i play. Hide and Seek, while simple... has some good things to it. Its a social game. All talk is on. Its a rotation. Its new. Its different. And office still happens to be the best map ive played thus far. With a few tweaks... it could be epic. I say we promote our hide and seek a little more... and not have it as just a filler server. I have to say... its the most fun ive had in a long time. It reminded me of the beginning of my FT days |

Or people who are in the FT should play more often. I hardly see half of FT members playing FTC. | ||

Let's use some logic shall we? Like Aristotle would. Because logic, is the only pure truth in this world, devoid of emotion and other "influences". Servers are empty because people do not want to play in them. FTC is empty most of the time. Therefore, people do not want to play in FTC. Populating a non-populated server is hard and tedious. People don't like to do things that are hard and tedious. Therefore, people will not populate our non-populated server. Likewise, people get on CS to play a video game and to have fun. Populating a server (being hard and tedious ((see above))) is not fun. Therefore, people will not populate a server at the expense of having fun. Having an NFO server is expensive. ($100/mo) An empty server has little to no value. Therefore, having an expensive server be empty, provides us with little to no value. We are donation based clan of limited means. An empty server of little to no value is not a good investment. Therfore, as a donation based community of limited means, an empty expensive server is not a good investment. Shall we continue or does everyone get the gist of it? |

The solution is not changing to another game. People are putting all this stock into Diablo 3, I've watched all the hype videos and am unimpressed - hell the demo with the Barb already had me feeling flashbacks to grinding. The graphics looked good, but it's the same game as D2, which is the same game as D1. They haven't even released all of the classes yet and people are creaming themselves. If we have the money from past donations, we should continue to fund the server. It's retarded for someone to not continue the server with other peoples' money because of activity, unless we're doing refunds. Start playing bitches. |

ok this is bullshit. People paid money to keep FTC going so then keep FTC going. if you want to kill it then thats fine. after this payment goes through for the next extension then stop taking payments for it. but you cant just say give me money for ftc and then decide the money would be put to better use somewhere else. not even a majority vote will do. it needs to be all or nothing. you cant piss off 1 person and make the rest happy. unless you plan on refunding the money then pay for the extension and then shut up about that. once thats done then you can really talk about the future of FT. It doesnt matter if you dont think its a good investment its what the people gave money for so pay for the extension and get it over with | ||

Im thinking a big part of this is that css is a rather old game. People are tired of playing the same thing all the time. I dont really feel like wrighting an essay response at the moment. |
