Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I know it's long but it's important: Ok, so I'm starting this thread because I believe that America's government is going nowhere, and it is going nowhere fast. In America, we are ruled by a loosely democratic government, where we vote for people who share our same ideas to represent us. The problem with our govenment is this: They (the politicians, our elected representatives) are too focused on keeping themselves in office to realise what is going on in America. We, also for the most part, do not realise what is going on in our own country. The citizens of this country have lost the ability to reason. They have lost the abilty to socratically question what is going on in America. To socratically question something means to constantly ask why? why? why? why?. Why is our country going nowhere fast? Why did 300,000 students drop out from Philidelphia high schools? Why are we in Iraq? Can we create a Democratic government in Iraq? Why the HELL are we building a 700 mile fence along our border with mexico? Maybe if people ask these questions today in a public forum our government will change. 36 years ago educated People asked the same questions about the Vietnam war. What did they accomplish? The government saw that their citizens were angry that their sons, boyfriends, grandsons, cousins were dying in Vietnam because they were protecting government intrests. The result? The end of the vietnam war. Guys and Girls, the same thing is happening in our country today. Men and Women are dying in Iraq because they are protecting government intrests. What intrests do we have in Iraq? Until we stand up to this manufacured idea that our government is telling us, then our government will continue to spiral to it's death. What can we do? WE as a People need to ask our government: WHY? This was all written in MY opinion, yes I am a liberal. I encourae you to comment and give input in this thread. Please |

This is a touchy subject. I disagree with our foreign policy, yes. Could I do any better? Probably not. If however we put that fact aside, I think that we should not be in Iraq anymore. Nobody cares about its success, and its bill is exceeding 500 billion $$. People hate america because we get involved in shit in other countries saying we know whats best and right. Either way though, there are some other effects of the war in Iraq that do us positive things (oil, oil, and oil) so we should be thankful gas is below 3$ a gallon. Thats just how I see it though. |

THIS PISSES ME OFF!!! I believe that the government is being run terribly. They should make THE RIGHT DECISIONS, NOT DECISIONS THAT WILL PISS OFF THE OTHER PARTY! THERE IS TOO MUCH OF THIS HAPPENING, AND WE ARE GOING TO EVENTUALLY ALL DIE. |

There is a conspiracy theory that the founding fathers made the government so that we vote and think we are the main voting people, but actually it's just a chain of main rich white people doing the electing. Also, the democrats are obviously going to win this next election, then we will start seeing some major changes in our country. Bush admitted this looking like Vietnam, and we all know why we are in Iraq. Three reasons. 1- Oil 2- Land 3- To stop their government That's all Bush wants, and that is the reason we went into Vietnam (except the oil). We are scared of communist governments and wanted to stop them, so we went into Vietnam. Bush has been planning this invasion of Iran forever, and now he has a reason to do it. The masterminds behind him are also largely responsible. єМєЯїСдn wrote ... WE ARE GOING TO EVENTUALLY ALL DIE. If you mean from this war, I doubt that. No one is going to attack America, they know we will just do the same thing to them. I think Syria may be the next to be invaded though, if this keeps happening. I'll post more of my opinions later - css time . |

its all ego, bush is like that little nerd in high school, always getting picked on and then one day he brings a gun to school. he wants to show muslims he has the power to kick ass and unleash an arsenal of thousand pound bombs upon their turbanned selves. since most of both house and senate is republican, there really isn't a nay say against him. this is a holy war in the middle eastern eyes. in the law of jihad, it states that if their religion is not spread freely, do so by the sword. all of those radical muslims believe that christianity is suffocating their lifestyles into non-existence. CAUSE-EFFECT. they fight back, bush teaches them a lesson...endless cycle. might as well be a holy war...we are starting up a second crusade, this will lead to more wars and then a world war, finally a mass exstinction due to ignorant sons-o-bitches. beggining of the end ey? |

Lep, most high republican leaders are saying what he is doing is wrong now. They ARE objecting him. Recently, a very high republican general confessed that he thinks they should just pull out of the Middle East.

Lep jihad does not mean holy war, it means religious struggle. There are many types of jihad but physical jihad plays a small part in the scheme of the Islamic religion. Like christianity, islam has differt sects that have very different views compared to the others, unfortunately this small group of people is spotlighted by the media and they are the representatives of their religion. |

Kd, we can't pull out of Iraq now, there is no possible way, that would be the end of anything and everything our military has. The only thing now is to go on with what has happened. And I'm not saying that going in was right, I was against war. It is obvious that after these past 8 years, a republican in office for four more seems unlikely, but if someone like John Kerry gets in, he won't get elected based loosly on how members in the military now do not like him for his friendship with jane fonda. Now onto the biggest issue, North Korea. This is where our problems are. Think about it, we sanctioned them, and japan sanctioned them, even China sanctioned them, but in reality, only two of those are legitimate sanctions. Japan is doing more of a political stratagy because if North Korea attacks japan, we have to help them, but we don't have any more troops to fight an other war for ourselves, so we won't be able to help Japan, which would lead to us being kicked out of Japan. Now this is our way to WWIII, sounds great. enjoy
