How about this true statement: The president does not run the country. It is ran by the morally corrupt rich people. They decide on wars, fate, government decisions, ect. All started when Theodore Roosevelt came to power and used the power of the central government to his advantage. Hurray for blaming everything on Bush! Sure, hes an idiot, but then again, so is everyone else. Your vote dont matter  Isnt it awsome knowing that your lives are controlled by the people with money?

Throughout history the way to change is through an informed and dedicated student population. The young people of every era still carry their idealism and belief in right and fairness. They have not yet been corrupted by money or the pursuit of power. Get out and get stong. Join and/or support orgnized students that share your beliefs and work to make a better world. Do it before you too become sucked into the grind of daily life and you lose the ability to focus and lose your burning passion to right injustice. |

I think that now that everyone sees how much idiots both democrats and republicans are, maybe our generation will fix shit like this and our government sucks. Then again, I think its too late. | ||

Oh hell no! it's never too late until it's over. Society has been in bad shape over and over again through history, but the will of the masses ALWAYS finds a way to correct it. sometimes it takes a while, so each generation needs to work at it. | ||

Then again, other generations didn't have nuclear weapons and dictators. Its a different world, things change. Personally, I dont think we have much time anmore. The world is going to end soon, and by damn, I hope they drop the fuckin nuke on me, because I dont want my death to be slow or painful. Ill take the quick evaporating death over anything. | ||

Leaders? Bah! I wouldn't thrust these so called 'leaders' to lead a boy scout troop to the bathroom in Wal-Mart. It's the same in my country (Canada). What these 'leaders' keep forgetting is that they are civil servants. They work for US!! What needs to happen (in the U.S. and Canada) is a very public firing of the incompetent. But we all know that'll never happen... | ||
