Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

While the top of the line technologies today are coming out in BioTech, in the near future (less than 50 years), our world will start using nano-technology. Nano Technology is simple very very small robots, programmable to work as a team in groups to repair places people cannot access. The nano technology has the characteristic of being able to reproduce (build others of its kind). This means that you can build a few of these critters, and use them to just build thousands, millions, quadrillions more. In the future, people predict that all of us will have many many nano robots in our body, smaller than the size of a red blood cell. These bots will be loaded with software to work individually, repairing red blood cells, fighting bacteria and virus's, and unlodging cholesterol buildup. When your body is injured, the robots communicate using very weak electrical signals sent through your blood (conductive to electricity BTW). They team up to repair broken arteries, brain damage and to fight really big crabs. The problem is, what if the nano robots run Windows 2025? Say a programming malfunction, or electromagnetic pulse destroys the robots ability to decipher good cells from bad? They would sense everything organic as bad in this case, and the still working programming would tell them to reproduce to be able to fight these cells. The creatures would devour everything carbon based (all virus and bacteria are carbon based, and so are we). They would spread from plants, people, animals, and every piece of life on the planet. Doors would not stop sub-cellular robots bent on destroying you, nor would water or fire. Electromagnetic pulses would kill the robots in a general area, but they would have spread much too far by this point. After breaking down all cells they encounter, they take a month to spread across the world. The remaining material is called grey goo, and the possibility of one of these nano-robots messing up? Im not sure... I thought this was a more likely demise to our civilization than most things. (level 4 virus is next) |

I know where you got this from, and I've been looking for that site forever. Could you post the link to that site for me? Also, I don't think this could happen unless we don't find a awy to dispose of the goo after it appears. |

Maybe a class A hacker could reprogram them to take out portions of the brain, effectively turning humans into zombies. Then we could have robot zombie wars! | ||

Nanotech is already in use. One of the first wide scale uses is being established right now in Sub-sahara Africa using nanotech to remove arsenic from drinking water and in waste recycle plants. They use the nanobots with iron oxide to attach to arsenic and then use magnets to remove the iron taking the arsenic along with it. Way cool, since arsenic poisoning is one of the leading causes of disease in many third world countries. Just read about that last week. |
