Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Okay, My deal is that I have NOT played WoW. Ever. I am VERY familiar with it, as I played Star Wars Galaxies, and every other video game made after 1980. My view on those games is simple.... After paying $30 for star wars galaxies, I got a game card for 3 months, $35 extra dollars. This game for 3 months already costs more than any console game. I could buy a lot of... somehting for 65$ total. First week I sucked. We all just learn the game, fantasize about becoming a jedi or a bounty hunter, then start raking for points. 100, 000 keko dragons later, you have improved to level 2 forest fag, and replaced your bent twig with a big stick as a weapon. This pace continues until about the second week (although it gets more fun during this week) Next you know it, you have a few friends, and you are level 5. You have maybe a dull knife as your weapon (all weapons made up), and you started to get magic, or the force (all the same shit to me). Skip ahead, its your last day on the game. You need to either buy a new gamecard, or walk away with honor. I had to seriously think about it at this point. I first checked my inventory. I had a speeder bike (given to me) a few million credits (given to me) a fucken HOUSE (given to me) and my backpack with a ton of weapons and armor and powerups. The mistake I made in that last paragraph was that to see if I was going to keep the game, first thing I did was "checked my inventory". After an hour of thinking, I came back to that point, and realized I was thinking about spending another 35$ for 3 months of star wars galaxies, and exited the game. I called a friend and smoked to never playing an MMORPG game again. Conclusion: 1) After 3 months all I had was my inventory 2) I gained NO skill in ANY part of life 3) It costs more than any other game, and they keep charging you 4) Its addictive Moral of the story: A magical bag of armor on a server dont got SHIT on a magical bag of herb in your hand. |

I understand your prospective those games arent for everyone especlaly since you constantly pay for them (though I play wow myself) Really it is something you ether are willing to keep paying for or your not willing to pay for. That is a truth for many MMORPGs but not all of them. Personally my favorite MMORPG and maybe favorite game defnatly in the running is Never Winter nites. It is made by bioware and you only pay to buy the game no monthly or yearly or even every centery. The diffrence is becouse Blizzard makes the server for you to play WOW but The users name the server to play NWN and no two modules are the same. The servers are designed, coded(nwn script is a lot like C++), put togeter, and hosted by users. So If you dont liek a server you can just change to a diffrent one and it would be compleatly diffrent. some are awosme some suck but it is all good. Though that was NWN1 in NWN2 the only diffrence is currently you have to download somethign to log onto every diffrent server (trust me I was pissed off about that and as were many others). Still a awsome game. BIOWARE FOR THE WIN!!! |

I played wow for about a week or two. In that week or two I invested maybe 100+ hours into the game. I got to lvl 17... I quickly realized how long it was going to take me to get to a respectable level... then how long it was going to take me to RUN to the next town to BEGIN a 6 hour long quest... I said "fuck this" turned it off, uninstalled, cancelled my subscription and played BF2(which I've also quit) and flew helicopters and blew tanks up. CS is the only game I've ever kept coming back to. Ever. D2 and D2:LoD was fucking awesome and I would STILL probably play the game today if I had a group of people actually into it. D2 clan anyone? Let's just beat the game one time around all the way up to Baal on Hell difficulty... and then quit. |
