does anyone else get really excited when they're about to play CS and start talking shit while the game is loading? "omfg i'm gonna kill all you bitches. it's time to bring the dualies PAIN. holy shit dude. omg i'm going to kill everyone. it's RAPE time! Aaaooooooooo!" anyone? i find that shit talking and competition go hand in hand and without it, life would suck. that's my view at least...bitches. |

Well I don't get ready to shit talk before playing games it isn't my style. Though I think you are right that competition and as you call it "shit talking" go hand and hand. It is human nature to want to be stronger and better at things they like then anyone else. To compete is something that humans live for weather or not they notice it. It isn't necessarily a game, fighting, or romance but there is always something that people will strive for because in reality they are seeking a purpose something that makes them stand above others. Shit talking is a side effect of that it is your will in more of a verbal form. You say you are going to kill all those bitches and stuff because you want to compete and to feel the power of being at the top or to have that feeling of accomplishment and it makes you feel empowered and sometimes can help distract your opponent. Life would suck without competition because then there would be nothing to strive for nothing worth doing and the shit talking that goes with it is another rush to add to the mix. At least that is my view on the subject |

leave it to pocky to make the first HUGE big "meaningful" post lol. ANywayz, shit talking is very important, at least if you dont do it in person at a crowd of ppl. then ur asking to be stomped. BUT talking shit gets you all pumped up which mentally makes you more "aware" and makes your reflexes quicker. Granted, i get all hyped up just by listening to music when i kill ppl. but if i ever shit talk i use only a few lines that i scream at the monitor. "DIE MOTHER FUCKERS" over and over repeatedly. "YEA BITCH YEA BITCH!" repeatedly also works wonders. or if i die.. "GOD FUCKING DAMMIT WTF WTF! HAX I SWEAR ITS BULLSHIT!" |

When I get owned from out of nowhere, sometimes I'll turn into Tourette's Guy and type PISS, or DICK or something,,, Lies perhaps, Fuck, Ballsucker... etc... Seldom do I shit talk the Loading screen. Nice post Pocky. I personally don't say anything when the game is loading but as soon as I jump in the tank I'm like okay it's game time trying to get my self in the right mentality. Then it becomes the whole damn that dude just pwned me or damn Glitch hax's like a mo fo. LOL!! I do agree that shit talking and competition go hand in hand Jigg. It's why I listen to Metallica's Enter Sandman while going to our baseball games. It just puts me in the right mindset to step out on the field and want to pwn everyone on the other team.

When you take away long hall from me....yes..yes i do yell at the compy, then its basically fuel for the fire But aside from that, I've found it a little more intimidating at competitions when the 5 man team comes, sits down, completely rapes the hell out of the other team, and walks away all in silence. Since...well you know, most teams are already yelling "YOU'RE GOING DOWN, BLARGH BLARGH BLARGH WE'RE GONNA KILL YOU" and they've just been put down by a bunch of guys looking half dead from sleep deprivation |
