One group of people will always think they are better than another just because they have a different color skin and thats all, most people seemingly always are looking for a way that to them makes them "better" than others and skin color is just one of those ways that a lot of people for a long time have come up with. I agree with what pocky said about colleges and jobs and other things about giving a job or a spot at a college to a minority just because he/she is just that a minority and that this in and of itself is racist even though that is what this was made to try to avoid. I personally think that we need to take out race and gender both from applications for colleges and jobs and just base the award of a job or spot in college on merit alone, but this I doubt will ever happen because somebody will say that that is somehow racist or discriminating also. Finally I also agree with what Pocky said about stereotypes and if you want them to go away then you should make it go away you have to work to make it go away and be untrue. Truely racist people make me mad because what they say and believe is just totally and utterly ridiculous. Many people tell "racist jokes" and they make some people laugh and others uncomfortable because they can't see how somebody could possibly laugh at something like that, I myself laugh at them for one reason, because of the utter stupidity and ignorance that spawned them and that's it. I hope this made sense I am really tired from doing college scholarship stuff, so yea if you want any clarification don't hesitate to ask and I will try my best to clarify it for you. the biggest mistake people make when they, themselves stereotype racists (yes, racists are stereotyped, just as they stereotype races) is that they think that all racists think they are superior to another race simply because of skin color. genetic makeup is what I'm all about, along with culture. don't act like skin color are our only differences... this is what schools, and society tell you at a young age. i am a racist. I Hate Everybody equally. I dont mind blacks. Or any other race as long as they r cool and respect ppl. This next paragraph is not to offend anybody. There is a different between blacks and niggers. Blacks r normal ppl who make a living doing the right thing. NO cheats and cop-outs. Niggers r black ppl who de-grade themselves. Just like Whites are hard working ppl who make a living doing things the right way. Crackers, Trailer Trash Whitey's are whites who de-grade themselves. Puerto Rican's are nice ppl who work hard and make a living. Spics are PR's who de-grade themselves. This goes on for every race. There are the hard working ppl who do what they have to do to live. Then there are the asshole's who cheat there way through life or give up and take the easy way out. I luv black ppl, indian ppl, PR's, mexicans, and everyone else. Anyone who defies themselves and thier race i have no respect for. About music... Rap is cool... depending on what the lyrics are. Most rap today is all bullshit. Lyrics suck and they are all about the same thing. Sex, Drugs, being shot, etc etc. PPl might say that young blacks who listen to today's rap may turn out to be idiots and just de-grade the black race even more. But then again, look at death metal. Its just as bad yet i like some of it. Ever go to a Death Metal Concert... Dont. Talk about mosh pits. "Hey, lets beat the shit out of random ppl because this music gives me an adrenaline rush." Even "Emo" songs can degrade because certain ppl will take it to heart and kill themselves if they are going through a rough time. About "Black History Month..." Fuck them. They get a whole month to remember that 200 years ago they were slaves...lol Spare me. Italians and Irishmen were slaves when America was first discovered. I dont see an italian history month or Irish History Month lol. Why should they be any different. Im not saying all blacks are idiots because of this since they all didnt come up with the idea. I just think that idea is stupid. It just fuels more blacks into being racist saying that they were slaves and shit. And fuels more whites into being racist saying that blacks dont deserve it and shit. Nothing good comes from it. Racism will never be let go. There will always be racism. Just gonna have to deal with it. |

to glitch: there was no need to classify those races under their derogatory (i always spell that wrong) names... You could have summed up most of your post by saying "no matter what race, religion, etc... you are, if you cheat your way through life, and you don't earn it, you don't have my respect"... but that's not the issue here, we're trying to figure out about equality. Are blacks and white equal, or is one superior in any way to the other, as a generality? what's your opinion? |

Once again you used a really bad reference. Global warming is a pattern in climets that some think exist and other don't. This is not like that we can acully look at a skull and a brain from a person and compare. We aren't talking about something that would be that hard to figure out all you need is a few dead people some blacks and some whites and open their head to measure the skulls and the brains then look into the DNA to see similarity in genetics. As we speak they are doing research to identify all the genetics in humans. As for looking I seem people and I don't see a difference in skulls. The thing is I am not going to admit we are different because that is not a true statement. I am as different from a black guy as I am from another random white guy. Assuming your absolutely right though if the brains were different that sill proves nothing. It might suggest that whites would be better suited for thinking but size dose not always mean that it is being used. Humans even the smartest of them only use 10% of their brain. Now what if in your scenario we had the bigger brains but used less % of it but in the end it equaled out? this is one thing that is also a possibility but of course someone who doesn't seem to trust in science at all I am sure that this argument means nothing because as far as your concerned your better then everyone else. Science may not have figured out everything but that is why we continue to search for the answer. If you just go saying what you think with no true facts supporting it your just spouting a faith and I don't have faith in anything. Once more I ask for conclusive evidence not a picture or your little "just look at their heads" because I have looked and I don't see a difference. Real hard proof a fact something with which I can not argue with or find flaws with. That picture for all I know could be drawn by you I could look for a very detailed image of a one eyed monster but that dose not make it exist. Sorry to beat a dead horse but proof is all i will accept. |

It is wrong to say "I am superior to ???", If you said "I am superior than ??? at @@@". Then yes that would be valid argument. Im going to drag the toad back into this... If you were to go and live a life as a toad...you would be fucked. For a toad to live your life it will be fucked. My point is everyones and everythings species has adapted to survive in the environment that surrounds them. If you were to say next "We have technology,brains,numbers and resources" then yes you could say we are superior then again a toad doesnt need technology or vast numbers of its own kind to survive so maybe a toad who needs less resources and less effort to survive maybe it is superior to us becuase survival is the main acheivment. So back to the point. If you took a normal everyday american white man and sent him to live with a tribe in Africa to fend for himself the members of the tribe would be superior to him. But then if you took a member of this tribe and sent him to lead a normal life in america this "white man" would be superior. But becuase whites and blacks dont live so far apart and so differently now, we can't say one is superior than the other becuase we are both surviving. I am talking about survival. We could as i am thinking you are, say about who is more intelligent who is stronger and so on. Yes there is a white person who is more intelligent than a black person and yes there are black people who are stronger than white people, but you are not born with this strength or intelligence it is how you are brought up. So there are white people who are stronger than black people and also black people who are more intelligent than white people. There are no actual test to prove this point apart from making a black infant and a white infant both grow up in poverty and basically a shit hole my guess would be they would turn out quite similar but then again maybe they would turn out completely different as it is all down to the experiances life throws at us becuase you and your brother/sister are not the same. But if you and your brother never sepperated and both did the exact same things and shared the same experiances maybe you might turn out completly the same. It is all about maybes and what ifs? There is no valid proof in my eyes. My oppinion = we can only say we are superior to those who are extinct as my species our species is surviving in the world that we have today and their speceies didnt make it.
