Now, we aren't trying to look for different classifications, because that we just separate us even more. The final way to "come together" is to accept the fact that that kid can run faster then me, or that other kid can read better then me, but we are all American. We dont have to be superior in a world where superiority is not limited, for it is given randomly as a gift. We just have to accept that what we got helps us in our own little way, and we just have to make it benefit for everyone. Black people can run good and play basketball. Asians can crunch numbers and are intelligent. White people got a little bit of both worlds. We all use different talents, and we just need to evolve into a society where we are okay with what talents we have, and how we can use them to help other people. (SUPERHEROES!!  )idk... to me its not looking to find who is better, but to find who is better at accepting what they are. Im a white country boy who was born in a small town. ill never own my own organization, ill never be in a professional sport, but my goal is to find something I can attain that will help everyone else out in the world. im just 16, my views may be off. a very inspiring post, indeed. this is the most intelligent thing that I've read in this thread, and possibly on this forum altogether. I'm shocked. Now someone's going to comment that using the word "black" is just as bad. Well, what are you going to use, "African-American"? Everyone likes to think that's politically correct. Except that black people come from other places besides Africa, and they live in other places besides America. Black has become the accepted terminology during this era, so that's the word you should use if you plan to start a discussion. And most recently in the discussion, you're trying to argue that whites are superior to blacks, and this has been proven scientifically. As drunk has pointed out, you posted a study from 1915. 1915? I doubt there was more than a handful of educated black people in America in 1915. And you can't just assume these results are accurate either. I'd be willing to bet that they were altered in favor of white people. Believe it or not, that wouldn't be so surprising. If you'd like to discuss the genetic differences between races, go ahead. But you made a generalization using an ancient study, and your other tests are completely flawed. As someone(maybe you), pointed out, a very small percentage of the population of the US is black. This means that the same percentage of whites and blacks could be considered "intelligent". But since the population of blacks is smaller, then a sample will have fewer "intelligent" people in it. Basically, all your statistical evidence as you posted it has little value to anyone who knows anything about statistics. I'm too sick of you to read much of what you posted about our physical differences, Nostie. But I'll jot down some basics. Physical differences between races are a direct result of evolution. Evolution, as you all hopefully know, is an adaptation over millions of years to a certain environment. Mongoloids(Asia, for the most part), have the eye structure that they do as a result of living where sandstorms were very common. The eyes evolved that way as a form of protection. Negroids have dark skin due to constant exposure to the sun. In places like Africa, the sun is very strong, and there is very little shade. Over millions of years, their skin has adapted to be resistant to the sun. Their physique is also a result of the need to hunt for their food. Europeans, though, civilized their society very quickly. The climate there required little adaptation from the humanoid body we know today. What I just posted above is not racism. It is scientific fact, and the reason that we are all different. So yes, blacks are structurally different. Why does that mean that we as whites are superior? I've gone and confused myself, mostly because your argument has no intellectual value to it. I hate this debate. |

Thanks man. and I know what you're trying to get through with this debate, I really do, but I just dont think people are ready for it now. Like you said, in your debates you try and make the other person have to feel stronger about their opinions and make them believe harder what they think, but this is just one topic that no one is really ready to discuss. maybe another time, and less mild

In any case, i was wrong... and i agree without that connection that was a useless thought. Would you rather that study from 1915 have not included a date, and believed that it was a recent study, or would you like to know that we have make leaps and bounds to educate blacks after the horrific event of slavery? I liked the point you brought up about the percent of blacks, and that there would be less figures that would stand out, because blacks only make up 14% of the population. Honestly i hadn't thought in depth about that before. that does sway me a bit. Well pocky thinks that blacks in this country are physically stronger because of artificial selection... and you're saying evolution. You both have valid points on this, being that before we brought them here, they were already skinny and muscular, and when we brought them here, the strongest were chosen to breed. to Zero: yeah, i thought that the FT people would try to get less offended by my statements and maybe take a thought into it without getting their emotions caught up in it. Still too hot a topic, i guess (i agree) |

I'm glad to see you post one something finally, and a thread that is important, to say the least. You prove some valid points and I'd have to agree. Basically, Zero and Amped had spoken in a sense that we all can agree on. I'm by no means mad as I was yesterday, and I talked to Nostie on X Fire afterwards. The thread would have been less insulting had it been written differently. |

The thread was renamed something along the lines of "I'm a gay 16 year old who needs attention" I forget the exact title but I remember it said 16 year old and that you need attention. | ||
