If you guys have not noticed by now, when i debate, my goal is to make people doubt themselves, so they look into what they believe, and if it's what they want to believe. If I make just ONE person think about their morals, just think about one topic differently, then i have succeeded in my goal, and have achieved a small victory. What I'm noticing is that many of you guys simply throw your beliefs out there and hope other people think what you're saying is intelligent. The goal of this forum is not to preach, it's to change minds. Your goal here is not to prove me wrong, and my goal is not to prove you wrong. my goal is to make you think about something you may not get the chance to think about often. Restriction of thought is my enemy. |

I am part african american and puerto rican. now nostie saying that caucasians are more intelligent then african americans has no truth value in it..and probably never will. because ..no one is smarter then another. one person will be smarter then another person in some subject no matter what it may be. now when it comes to levels of critical thinking and problem solving caucasians may be a little bit better at this because of slavery making african americans not able to obtain an education back then because the caucasians never allowed them to..they just made them do all the work that they didnt want to do. slavery is not just 50-60 years old..it thousands of years old. we in america werent the only civilization to enslave africans..romans..greeks..egyptians..they all made them their slaves at some point. but continuing on the brain power part..african americans are slowly becoming more and more intelligent. more are going to college, getting jobs, and teaching their kids at earlier ages.now sometimes racism comes up when they try to get jobs but they'll eventually get one because racists are slowly going away because they're realizing how stupid it is to think one race is smarter than another. it is true that african americans are good at a lot of sports, because, as nightrider said, they had to do strength and stamina building work. but now sports are having grade limits so african americans are working harder in school. now the only credible test to actaully prove caucasians are somewhat smarter is the SAT. IQ test focus on two subjects science and math..and are not sufficient. i dont feel like writing more now...so im gonna end it here..concluding.. nostie..this entire thread is not to see what peoples opinions are about racism...you posted this...to get peoples attention and to some how prove caucasians are smarter then african americans ..which will never be possible...advances will always be made and racism will eventually go away. tis thread..was to make yourself..seem superior...all you did...was make yourself look like a complete...incoherent..ignorant..asshole PS. i know why you might be racist...you live around jewish people...they are known..to be racists..so like most racists these days...your only racists..because the people around you  |

Race is not a scientifically valid concept. This is one of the first things you learn if you ever take an introduction to anthropology course. The information presented above from 1915 studies, etc. has since been demonstrated unscientific by the anthropological community. To quote from the first paragraph of the American Anthropological Association Statement on "Race" authored in 1998: With the vast expansion of scientific knowledge in this century, however, it has become clear that human populations are not unambiguous, clearly demarcated, biologically distinct groups. Evidence from the analysis of genetics (e.g., DNA) indicates that most physical variation, about 94%, lies within so-called racial groups. Conventional geographic "racial" groupings differ from one another only in about 6% of their genes. This means that there is greater variation within "racial" groups than between them. In neighboring populations there is much overlapping of genes and their phenotypic (physical) expressions. Throughout history whenever different groups have come into contact, they have interbred. The continued sharing of genetic materials has maintained all of humankind as a single species.
