Here's another topic I'm sure will get very many views/replies.
I am all for Gay Marriage. I think that messing in other peoples business is uncalled for, and if two guys want to kiss, and hump all night I'm all for it. (not that i want to SEE it... but it's fine with me.)
Now this does not mean that i think it's natural. Penises and vaginas are there for a reason, reproduction. now that reproduction is not a problem, people are finding other places to put them ;D... I don't think this is the natural course of things... but whatever floats your boat.
I'm not sure why gays are gay, but I always thought that gays either wanted to be rebellious (but it's subconscious), something happened to them during their childhood that affected their thinking so much that they no longer had an interest in women, or fetus pleased them so much that they came begging for more. Seriously now, I think that it's not a choice, since they're drawn to the opposite sex no matter what... it's not some huge hoax and they're all going to laugh at us and say "hahaha we actually like |

One thing nost, this topic is yet again titled wrong. It should be, Lets here some gay bashing/support, and see how much drama we can start. This has nothing to do with gay marriage, which is not a philisophical topic, but political. I for one am from Boston, and have lived there all my life. Mass is the first state to legalize gay marriage, and as of now, it is going to stay. I feel as this is beyond perfect, and I would never vote for someone who would be against this. As for people who are gay, and why they are gay, I'm not sure. I don't think they have a real choice, I mean, you are attracted to who you are attracted to, Thats all. As for sex for nonreproduction, I'm a huge partaker in this, I use condoms, I fuck girls with birth control, or if shit goes down wrong, they go get the morning after pill. Recently I've fucked girls in the ass too, and that is almost 100% birth control aswell. So that doesn't apply to just homosexuals. |

A Drunk: why don't you think they should be able to raise kids? they're hard working americans just as everyone else is... their difference in lifestyle should restrict them from adopting why? B/c i think that a kid needs to be raised by a farther and a mother. Not 2 dads or 2 moms. That is not how it has ever been. So when a boy hits puberty, and every boy get that "talk", you want a "Mom" to do it. I feel that a kid needs to be raised by a Mom and a Dad. That is the way that a kid is made other than being implanted or transplanted, whichever it is. When it is 2 women, they didn't make the kid. Even though someone might get babies implanted into her, she is (most likely and should be) raising it by herself or with a "husband" (or her boyfriend if that is how they roll). | ||

well i was raised from the age of 6 on by my mother, because my mom and dad got a divorce. my father was not there for me to give me "the talk" and shit like that, so i disagree with your points there. I think that kids can find stuff out on their own, and it'll make them more experienced, and investigative. | ||

Like i said, i just don't feel it should be 2 dads or 2 moms. I just feel that way b/c that is how i feel. I can't really explain why i feel that way, it is not that i am against gays at all, i just feel that they shouldn't be able to adopt or have kids. Having kids is between a man and a woman, not a man and a man or a woman and a woman. If your parents get divorced or 1 dies, that is a different situation. You were still raised by 1 Mom not 2 so i feel that is 100% okay. | ||

I know i'm not the best with words so please bare with me. I believe that for most cases it is not a conscious decision to be homosexual, but like nostie said a subconscious one. One of my friends which i have known for most of my life is gay(though i did not know this until about three years ago). I asked him not to long ago, just out of curiosity, what was his reason for his turning gay. He told me that there was no real reason for it. It wasnt like he just woke up one morning and was like hey i think i'll be gay just because i feel like it. He said that he just never felt attracted to girls. He wasnt sure why. I'm not sure if this might be part of the reason for him turning gay. But his father died when he was very young and his mother never remarried. The absence of a male role model in his life may have been a big part of it. My point of view on being gay is that i do think its wrong to like and do sexual things with people of the same sex but i would never shun or make fun of a homosexual because i believe that for most of them it is an uncontrollable thing. |

Here is my opinion. I belive people can do what ever the fuck they want. Homosexuals wanna marry? Let them be. Let them adopt children, let them do what ever they want to. As long as their lifesytle is not interferring with mine, and is not somehow forcing it's views upon mine I'm all for it. This is the way I feel about everything in this world. |

its sad how the politicians in our country do whats best for them and not whats in the peoples interest. most of us could care less if 2 guys kissed or fucked, but the politicians (mostly republicans) do what is best for their party. its unfortunate that it works this way, because theyre fucking this country up more than our founding fathers could ever imagine. if george washington were alive today hed be moving to mexico. | ||
