Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

It has become clear to me through extensive studying of lasagna, that its existence is no mistake. In fact, lasagna is so perfect and representative of the universe, that I have concluded that it MUST have been intelligently designed. I must mention, however, that it is absolutely impossible for such an assembly of noodles, sauces, and anything else in it, to evolve over millions of evening dinners. The notion that only the best recipes would survive through natural digestion is absolutely proposterous. I maintain that the lasagna, in all of its glory, was created by the appendage of Flying Spaghetti Monster. You may be asking, then how come my lasagna differs from your lasagna? The answer is simple. Flying Spaghetti monster created all lasagnas and all recipes. They never evolved, they were created in their present form around the year 1350, and was first documented as being served to a british king around 1390. Like an asian person differs from a black person, who differs from a caucasian, Flying Spaghetti Monster created many different lasagnas. Vegetarian, meaty, mushroom lasagna. All different races of the same ultimate and perfect creation. What intruiged me more is the structure of lasagna. Lasagna, in fact, represents a microcosm of our entire existence. At the top, representing his superiority over all things, is the grandest of all grand noodles. A huge strip of noodliness unparalleled in other noodly dishes invented by his noodliness. A demonstration of intelligent falling, his noodly top layer applies intelligent falling on all layers below. If his top noodle was not present, the ingredients would be flying everywhere. Next, the sauce. The topmost layer of sauce most definitely represents believers and supporters of flying spaghetti monster - most specifically the ones dressed like pirates. We are, after all, closest to his noodliness. The following layers with intermediate noodles tell us that flying spaghetti monster isn't only the grandest authority, he is also everywhere around us. We need not look anywhere, and flying spaghetti monster is there. In conclusion: Lasagna was created in its present form by Flying Spaghetti Monster. In addition to our noodly gospel of the flying spaghetti monster, I believe that lasagna is akin to a book, written directly by flying spaghetti monster, giving us the basis on which to structure our lives, all beginning with his noodliness being above and superior to us all. From wikipedia: The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the deity of a parody religion] called the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It was founded in 2005 by Oregon State University physics graduate Bobby Henderson to protest against the decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to require the teaching of intelligent design as an alternative to biological evolution. In an open letter sent to the education board, Henderson professes belief in a supernatural Creator called the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which resembles spaghetti and meatballs. He furthermore calls for the "Pastafarian" theory of creation to be taught in science classrooms, essentially invoking a reductio ad absurdum argument against the teaching of intelligent design. The central belief is that there is an invisible and undetectable Flying Spaghetti Monster which created the universe. All evidence for evolution was planted by the Flying Spaghetti Monster, in an effort to test Pastafarians' faith; a form of the Omphalos hypothesis. When scientific measurements, such as radiocarbon dating, are made, the Flying Spaghetti Monster "is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage." I dont think this is a joke, it's a protest to teaching intelligent design. Edited Sun Apr 15 2007, 04:57PM |
