Just so everyone knows i am in no why trying to be racist. So i was wondering, why when a black person calls a white person a cracker nobody cares. Black kids at my school call white kids that alot. But heaven help us a white person call a black person a nigger. I dont understand, they are both racist, derogatory terms used to degrade people. If i was to go up to a black person and call him/her a nigger the punishment would be much worse than if a black person called me cracker. I think that if they can call white people crackers then white people should be able to call them niggers. Discuss please. p.s. nobody close this thread. i would really like for this to be discussed fully. |

Night, i was just talking to someone and they were asking me about nosties thread. I just gave him the link to it and he just read it. But on this topic. I think that they can call us crackers because of the slave term. The slave term was nigger and cracker just came from somewhere. That is the only reason that i would know of. I also don't real hear them unless it is one black kid saying to another "whats up nig?" | ||

I totally agree, I dont think its right at all. Why if a white person gets a job a black person applied for is it racist? Yet when the black person gets the job, they are "qualifyed". Garunteed, If you as "White" men/women appl to the same job as a foriner or another person with a different skin colour, they will get the job, other wise it will be seen as racism, rediculous I know....right? I think the whole aspect of "Racism" is totally out of context in that kind of a situation, and people should look at it differently then that. The goverment is partially responsible, employers are supposed to hire so many forigners per year/ or what ever..is that fair to the rest of the white community as a whole? Ps. I mean no offence to any black people or people of any other country, thats just how it goes... |

I used to call ppl crazy crackers to anyone in particular (just something I came up with in my head never heard anybody call someone a cracker before) but then heard that it was "bad" so I stopped. About the n word I say why bother saying it and if some one else says it or calls you it thats their problem not yours. | ||

why? Because they went through slavery and can say what ever they want, white people havent gone through anything ( i guess you could say the holocaust, maybe) and that means they cant say anything racist. one time i got yelled at by a big black lady for saying nigger. btw, im just kidding, i have nothing useful to input into this thread. Yup, they think it's ok because people they don't even know went throw slavery. White people were slaves but we still cant say nigger. The thing that pisses me off is that if there ever was a stars in white or a white entertainment it would be called "racist" but it's ok for black people to have them. Another thing black people fought there ass's off for the right to sit in the front of the bus and ones they can they go set in the back because it's "cool". |

Well the bus thing was just the start of it. That was what Rosa Parks thought of doing and that was the easiest way to fight segregation. Them sitting in the back today has nothing to do with what Rosa Parks did because the people that ride in the back today, were not alive when their was segregation. The whole bus thing was to try to stop segregation, she could of just went to a white bathroom and just used that, that would pretty much be the same thing. | ||
