giuliani dropped out today... I thought he was going to win from the start. Edwards dropped out too. Looks like repubs are leaning towards mccain and dems are leaning towards... obama? this is weird. |

A good way to start a political debate is not "like srsly", for one. I agree and disagree, however. If we drop our foreign affairs, who is going to help those in need? Albeit that Iraq MAY not be as big a candidate for aide as Darfur or Tibet, we can't just drop what we've started/wrecked (Chose whichever term suits your opinion). On the other hand, America was unanimously put in charge of world affairs after WWII, something that it's citizens don't necessarily want, seeing how we've already beaten the godless Soviets. I totally just remembered what this thread was originally about; luckily, I can still say "Fuck Hillary" because she wants to destroy everything that America is known for: Violent video games, Free market economy, and saving the world. We can't police the world. We don't have the resources, the manpower or the willingness of the people. Who's going to help those in need? Who fucking cares? Private groups, other countries, themsevles. I don't give a shit about Iraq, why the hell are my tax dollars spent there? I'd rather see the US help out a country like Darfur or Tibet, but no, our foreign affairs rarely (if ever) revovle around the sole purpose of making the world a better place. So fuck them, bring the troops home, use them to defend this country and it's citizens. Maybe once we re-establish economic dominance we can redeploy to those in serious need... but until then... it's going to be the collapse of this great nation. No empire is sustainable. None. Look it up. |

Look it up. for once, i agree with noskill... Fuck everyone else. Honestly, ever play C&C series lol? Most of the time i never made a big offense, and i never allied with many... From the start, i built up defenses to a sky high. No one could touch me. Now that i had defense for every possible attack, i could then slowly build up my offense.... I never lost. Our country should be doing the same. Just built up our defenses and use everything we have to soley build up defense, from every possible threat. However, there are flaws in that plan. By not helping out other countries, it hurts us economically because we cant trade as efficient. China had a good idea, but needed work. The Great Wall. Best idea ever imo. And Omni, fuck Hilary if she wants to end violent video games. But it WILL NEVER happen, because it would destroy the gaming industry, and cause a HUGE increase in unemployment, cause major company titles to drop out and fall, which in turn will hurt our economic stability. Trust me, by doing so, it does more harm then good. And Hilary is a very intelligent person, i doubt she will make it clear that she wants to abolish it, because it will hurt her campaign hard since a large portion of the voting population are young adults to college students, who thrive on video games. |

For the record Ron Paul does not support isolationism. He is in strong support of diplomatic relations with all nations equally, free trade with all nations equally, sharing of ideas and technology on the premise of mutual benefit. He does not support using our military might to fight other people's wars, or influence sovereign nation's decisions or to "spread democracy" (sounds like cancer to me). |
