Ok so in the AFC East we have Pat's 10-5, Miami 10-5 and Jets 9-6. With Miami and NY playing each other tomorrow. Also the Ravens are 10-5 with the 2nd wild card. (Indy has clinched) So if the Pats win tomorrow (11-5) and Miami LOSES then the Pats will win the division and go to the playoffs. If the Pats win and the Jets lose, then the Pats would need a Ravens loss to make the wild card. So why are the Pats fucked regardless? Because they play at 1pm.... ...the Jets play at 4pm. The Jets will know whether or not they're making the playoffs before they hit the field... If the Pats lose we don't make the playoffs. If the Pats win, the Jets can't make the playoffs. So if the Pats win, I bet Mangina lies down for Miami. This will inevitably fuck the Pats over, because BAL is playing JAC and is a 13 point favorite to win. So there you have it... regardless of whether the Pats win or lose tomorrow... we're fucked. It's been fun, hopefully Tom's back next season and we can go back to blowing teams out by 40 points. well you're not techinically fucked, you just lost almost all probability of winning. there is still, as always, still a chance to make the playoffs and win. I wouldn't say you lost just yet. but with how the Jets have been playing, I think Pats will lose and the Jets win and they head off for the playoffs. |

zero, you don't watch football really, do you? How the jets have been playing would mean a grim fate for them. lost 3 out of the last 4. Farve has thrown around 5 more picks then touchdowns. Farve looks old, the defense and offense looks tired and slow. And as much as I want the Jets to win, I highly doubt they will. I'm banking on a ravens fluke loss really. |

I hope the Ravens lose. I hate them more than the Browns and Bengals. They're up there with the Patriots. I hope Tom Brady returns next year too. Because then my fantasy football games would have been blowouts, and I'd be undefeated and not winning my championship game by only 4 points D: |

Ohh, for your information noskill, the jets still have a chance to make the playoffs, and this is exactly the reason they moved both ravens and jets game to 4pm. If the jets win and ravens lose, jets get the wildcard. If the ravens win, which the jets would not know about because they are playing, then they would be out no matter what. So the jets have to play their best football today to make the playoffs, we actually have a better chance then they do. So today, for the first time ever, I'm jets fan! |
