dude watching this live was so gross. Joe Rogen screaming "stop the fight, stop the fight" because the guy went down, thinking he tripped off the checked leg kick. And the Ref didn't know what had happened since the other guy covered for ground game like you need to do in a fight. This guy will probably never come back to fighting with a break like that. Such a shitty way to end his 4 fight professional career. | ||

It's probably not the end of career. He'll spend a month to three healing. At least he didn't break the ball of his ankle. But what do I know. I'm 16. |

A break like that, full compound fracture, where the bone breaks enough that each end of the break aren't actually touching will ruin most things for you. You'll need major surgery to fix it, then cast it like a regular break, only this time with pins and shit in it. then after that, since it was so bad, you probably tore most muscle around it with the break. So you'll rehab at least a year for the break and muscle damage. Then after taking a whole year off of fighting/training, you'd have to go back to it for at least a year to get back into the grove of shit with your newly metalized leg (or where ever you broke) because I promise it won't feel the same. Then you can try, and only try to get back into professional fighting. but also realize two years from now there are going to be a lot faster/stronger/younger fighters in the league who will probably beat the piss out of you, unless you are an incredible technician in the sport, with the endurance. | ||
