Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I'm curious if there are any gun owners among us. I know Wildcard is/was a cop and might know a little bit about it, but I haven't seen him in a year+. In any case, I just turned 20 and I plan to pick up a gun in a year (with it's legal for me to own a handgun). I'm leaning very much towards picking up a Glock. I'm not sure whether to pick up a 9mm, .357, or .45... It seems the advantage of 9mm would be cheaper ammo, bigger clip size, and better accuracy, while the latter two would be more powerful. (which obviously makes me lean towards 9mm. I'm not planning on shooting anyone anytime soon.) If I go for 9mm I'd pick up either a G17 or G19 depending which felt best in my hand (of course I'd want to see how they feel before I buy). If anyone has specifics on guns, ammo, etc... give me some advice. |

When the zombies come, it's quantity that matters, not the size of the bullet... | ||

well I know you can fire 30,000+ rounds out of a glock. It's the ak47 of handguns, but personally I'd go for something more James Bond. I've fired a .357 desert eagle about 10 times and I wouldn't recommend it for target practice. Try a 9-10mm, or even better buy a fucking rifle. Then if you like that get a handcannon. I think that's the reason I'm looking for a glock. I want a gun that will be reliable and last me a longgggg time. I'll check out some of those that you mentioned though. @toast Good point. I'll keep that in mind. |

I own a Tarsus 9mm, it shoots great, easy to clean. Always wanted a Ruger MkIII it's .22lr Berretta, Taurus, Glock, do whatever. If you want to shoot it often, make sure it isn't a shitty gun or you'll get made fun of at the range, or if you're shooting out in the forest/desert get anything you want. |

I own more then every member on here combined. Of all kinds. I will tell you this... most hand guns are reliable if you handle it the right way. Clean it all the time and dont neglect it. I still got guns that are 35+ years old that look and shoot better then some new ones. Always taken care of. Listen, just get this.. -[link]- Prolly one of my favorite handguns Next to a .357 Mag. This baby fires real nice. Zombies wont come anytime soon. SO no need to worry about capacity. Great for target practice. Great reliability. 8 rounds is all u need if your doing target practice or shooting animals. 20 rounds a mag is only good if: 1. You can't aim worth of shit. 2. Your too lazy to reload. 3. The caliber is not heavy enough to put someone or something down in 2+ hits. .45 ACP, if need to be god forbid, will put someone down in 1 hit unless hit in the extremities (which will prolly put him down if hit in the upper leg anywayz). Go high power with high reliability. You wont be disappointed. |

This will be my first gun, though, Glitch. I'm looking for something that is fairly cheap (Glock 19 is half as much as the gun you linked), the ammo is fairly cheap, but is also reliable, etc... I'm not really worried about taking down something big. I'm not hunting and I sure as hell hope I don't run into some douche with a gun. I'm not sure if it'd be a CCW gun... I just think Glock 19 would be a nice starter gun... Do you disagree? (I'm ready willing and able to pick up more guns later that are higher caliber). Let me know what you think. |
