It's time to use the defibrillator on FTC. We need to come up with some definitive ideas on how to get FTC functioning like the good ole times. Alex and I discussed some suggestions and I'm here to highlight what we should do to populate the server. First, we're going to continue and expand upon "FTC Night". Secondly, I want to discuss time-tables where people can idle in the server or play on consistent times during the week. Next, I want to shortly amend admin policy in the new server's best interest. Here's what I suggest to increase server population. First, I want to expand FTC Night to two nights a week. I don't know specifically what day would be best for the second night, so feedback is necessary. FTC Night #1 did better than I could have expected for the first Thursday of the event. We had 20 people on at one point, we had a large base of our clans' (Both FT and F7) population active on the night, and we had new people/old regs asking about clan recruitment and forums. Night #2 will expectantly be just as good. So, let's get some suggestions for a second FTC night. We can call it "Recruitment Night" just to get new players more interested. Now for item #2. This one will be much more difficult. I need to make a schedule of times when certain people are willing to play consistently on a certain day at a certain time. Even if it means just idling in spectator. So, it means using up your computer even if you don't want to play. This is completely voluntary. If you can idle or play at 6 P.M. Mon., Wed., Fri., we can keep population and activity up at those times for a month or so, we should notice a significant rise in population. Please PM me if you are interested in doing this and what times/days you're available. Your contribution of time is extremely appreciated, and I promise I will find some way to make it worth your while. The third is specific to admins and use of our abilities. This comes from FTC night; I was getting a little annoyed by the use of admin speech and votequestions that seemed to have little point in the server. Mainly inside jokes and shit about zombies and whatnot (Normally something I'd encourage... I want a lot of people to survive the Zombie Apocalypse as much as the next guy, but we have forums to discuss this!). Also, I do not want to see admins using admin speech to have a conversation with a living player. That speech is reserved for warnings, messages, and clan related information. I know I've violated these as much as the next guy, but right now the clan has to look professional and that means being mature with your admin. So, please review these, send me your availability for a population schedule, what day you want for the second weekly FTC Night, and make sure you use your admin in an acceptable way. Also, make sure you let people know about the forums if they ask questions about the clan or server. It's very important to get people involved. Edited Mon Oct 13 2008, 03:23AM |

all I read was defibrillator, then it gave me an idea FTC's drinking night. It's a 18+ server anyways, so let's have a drinking night on saturday's. Provided we all party on the weekends, but who says we can't start a little early at our computer's eh

you think thats a bad idea bandito? i think its a great idea. look at our most popular ftc members of all time: fetus, goose, AP, and wildcard (i dont think anyone would disagree with those choices). they loved to drink when they played, which made it funner for everybody. i know i enjoyed listening to drunk people argue over the mic about the end of the world at 2 in the morning. | ||

alright im down with idea #2 any day of the week and anytime im like 7 eleven ...but there is some dickhead admin that kicks me everytime its either zero or someone else idk...but yea u can include me i can | ||

I get on whenever I can. I start college in a week, but get off at 4:30 P.M. When I'm not working I have no excuse. FTC Night should be Tuesdays and Thursdays, after 8 P.M. | ||
