Maybe we need to think about a little marketing.. rearranging the name of the server so that more people notice it might give us an easy boost in connections. most people who still play cs have a core interest; ie:a specific map they like. if we put "24/7 office" in front of fish tank classic, people are more likely to notice because they read it first. for example, when i hop into cs or tf2, i look for key server info (100 tik, no awp, instant respawn, etc) before i look for the server name. its all a matter of how people scan information and sort their server list. we need to place ourselves into a category that more people are likely to search by, basically we all already know its the fish tank, but new players are more interested in just finding a full server. then they start coming back because of the great community. anywho, thats my two cents Edited Mon Oct 13 2008, 06:34AM |

we could just say if you aren't on ftc for at least 3 nights of a week for 30 mins each you are off the clan. That might get the job going. My other clan did something similar and it worked. Edited Mon Oct 13 2008, 01:22PM | ||

Nah Compost, I don't want to force people out of the clan. This is a fun clan/server, not a competitive/ego maniacal clan. If any admin kicks Ruskiy (Or anyone else) *For no due reason*, you will no longer have admin. I'll make sure you aren't on the ban/autokick list if you give me your steam ID Rusk. I like where Poop was going. I'll talk to Alex and see if we like something better. I know NoSkill mentioned this a few weeks ago too. I'll try to have a schedule by the end of the week of people who are willing to idle/play at whatever times. Knight, Tues and Thurs at 8 PM EST sounds great to me. Drunk night can obviously be Saturday if people think it's a good idea... Lord knows I'll partake. I'm going to make amendments to the Mani Adverts again to note Tues. as Recruitment Night to bring in new members, and I'm going to make a few other changes (with Alex's permission/agreement). I will not make Drunk Night a public thing though. |
