I haven't been around nearly as long as many of you, but I've met plenty of great people along the way. Shame I never got a mic, or I'm sure we'd have even more fun times. I appreciate this community more than any sane person should, but I feel like I've been through a lot together with you all. Many of the old regs have fizzled away in recent months, but I still make an attempt to check the forums and I hope to see you jump on occasionally too, Alex. Also, if another Counter-Strike game comes out I think the magic of FTC can be reborn. I see that as the only realistic way we can achieve our glory again. I'll never forget the countless forum posts, sub-clans, users, and servers we had here, including the classic trio of late-night office dwellers (Alex, Bubblegoose, and Fetus) as well as the controversial users that I considered friends, such as kern32.dll, graffiti, and Kalibur. How about Omni and Omega always tearing it up on CT (specifically back window..) Damn I had a lot of good times with all of you. Most notably on Office, Office 2, zombie, custom maps, and surf. Zombie was good times Surf was a close 2nd to office. I don't care what anyone says, surf was some of the most fun I've had on CS:S |

yeah I just wish I got better at surf and TRIED IT a lot earlier. whenever I got on there I was always greeted with the best of helloes, which felt great since I wasn't familiar with many of them. Honestly... you guys are the best hands down, even my quarrels with many of you have grown into better relationships. You guys always fucking slapped me and shit, haha, and if I didn't suck I would have gotten really pissed, but it was really funny and it just made for better times. the only thing I miss, is how fun Zombie servers were RIGHT when we had them they died down fast but the ones where Wildcard was around. OMFG the best fun I've ever had on here, hands down. lurv you guys

I already gave my mushy speech when I quit CS. But seeing the FTC server offline breaks my heart a little bit. Games will come and go but the assholes you meet online stick with you like AIDS. Good times and No Pants! Now dance fuckers. |

Later Alex. Goodluck. Little by little people are leaving. Getting older, meeting new people, finding new things to do in life... all send us separate ways. Its a part of life. I myself havent been around much at all lately. I spend hours every week traveling from my new house back to the old neighborhood to hang out with the g/f and friends... Being 21 and goin out to bars also takes up more of my time. Work here and there... I still come by every once in a while. And im sure i will be on more in the near future. I just really hope Valve comes out with a new Counterstrike. We can all buy it and start anew with that one.... and i am damn fuckin sure there will be thousands and thousands of people playing it as well.. If we all hit the game early, and start our new server early.... we will no doubt flourish once again. But until then... Long live FT! |

I though about leaving once evreything died off. But I realized it's nice to have people to talk to that you don't actually "know". In a way, it's a secret release/escape from friends and family. although I consider you guys my e-family. Thanks for everything you did with FTC Alex, even though surf was my scene, I always appreciated the hard work you put in. |

Lately I haven't been playing CSS as much as I want to. I've pretty much been living to work (not working to live) with no free time left to myself. I even thought about writing a teary eyed leave the light on thread, but I realized that even though we may not have a server anymore, we're still a strong community. I still jump into servers occasionally with old friends (ps I lost all my vent info in my reformat, so any server info would be appreciated, please pm), and get the late night rape going. I miss popping in on surf and everyone knowing my name, those were good times. Oh well maybe we'll be a gaming clan again sometime in the near future. If I get another computer, I'd like to turn this current one into a gaming server. | ||
