| Changes that seriously need to happen. | ||

As a recent patron to your server, there are some changes You, the administrators of the server, desperately need to make. This is not criticism or bashing, but revisions that need to happen. 1.) Votekick / Voteban -- This needs to happen. Every day you have someone who comes in and TK's purposely from a spot that doesn't auto spawn slay, so you have half of a team basically starting with less than 50 HP, which is a pistol shot in leg. Not real fun. The vote kick / ban should require minimum of 5-6 votes to prevent abuse and unproper use. 2.) More admins. More along the lines of lesser admins, that have the right to kick/ban/etc should the need arise, and to keep the general population in a state of enjoyment, rather than just everyone yelling at everyone else and spamming racial slurs etc in chat. They don't need full admin powers, but some moderation is needed. I think I've seen one admin on in my multiple hours spent so far. 3.) All Talk - I don't necessarily have a problem with this one, but maybe make it a vote command? When there's 8 v 8 it's kinda hard to strategize when you have to type where an enemy is. *moved to Fish Tank Classic forum* I do agree with what has been said here. It's quite frustrating when a TKer comes on and no admins respond to chatbox. I realize the idea is to transition to CS:GO when it comes out, but while we are trying to build a base of players for when that happens, it might be a good idea to include some kind of votekick script. I would also volunteer to be admin since I am pretty frequent on the server (just the ability to kick players would be fine. I don't need anything else). |

Thanks for the feedback, Piro. 1. I was under the impression that votekick and voteban were working. What happens when you try to run either of those commands? 2. Someone else from the Lead Admin team can handle this one... 3. I'd like to turn it off, to be quite honest. It's only fun with very low player counts or very late at night when everyone is high on something. When the server is full (and people are more or less sober) it's a headache. |

What luvtux said. Neither votekick, voteban, !votekick, !voteban, or any other combination of those commands are working. No console command either saying they failed (*used to an admin a server so I tried everything I could think of via mani commands/source/etc) |

Voteban/kick were supposed to work if an admin wasn't in the server. That's the impression I was under, at least. I wouldn't honestly know. As for more admins, that is underway as we speak. Maybe it's just me, but I think this server is more fun with a little bit of contest sprinkled in. I like all-talk so I can chat up all my friends. But, I do understand the frustrations Also, Glad you made it to the forums, I've enjoyed playing with you even though you rape my foreskull all the time. |

I set this earlier (through RCON, and updated the mani_server.cfg file) and asked some non-admin folks to test it out: mani_vote_user_vote_ban_mode 1 It didn't work. Not that I'm very interested in testing the Source server out. But, hey!
