Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I'm not sure what your end goal is, but looking at this after a potential switch could be telling: Obviously there are other factors besides alltalk, but I say it's worth it to experiment and see what happens. The change isn't too drastic, in my opinion. Graphs are for managers! It is pretty cool, though, in a check-out-my-cool-graph sort of way. Next? |

I don't have much fun on the server without all talk. I don't play because it's a good game. I play because it's good company. I want to talk to that company. |

I want to talk to that company. I thought I agreed with B4ndito. I love hopping on the server and playing with everyone and being able to talk with whoever i want, no matter what team. However, after playing the last few nights, I enjoy it much better like this. It's a tactical advantage to be able to broadcast to only your team, but it can also be fun. Seeing as how I play for the atmosphere (we all know how bad I am at these games), I had a blast last night with Wu and Bleek and everyone else camping projector or rushing garage, whatever I decided I wanted to do. It got boring after a while when nobody else was on the mic, but that will change once more of us have the time to play and the regulars finally. ome out of their shell and speak up. One more thing. On the source server, I thought alltalk was necessary with all the cTB switching. Getting switched mid conversation wasn't as big of a deal with alltalk. I've noticed that the teams aren't being changed nearly as much in GO (or at least it doesn't seem that way to me), and therefore you are able to stick with mostly the same guys for all 30 rounds. This is why I don't think alltalk is an issue now, but it could be if teams start getting switched around more. I haven't reread this, so my thoughts may be a little jumbled. I just woke up so give me a break |

I like to be able to talk to people, that's the major appeal of CSS compared to Call of Duty, etc. People can use team chat to speak to their teammates, but there needs to be communication between opposing teams I think. |

I don't think you read my entire post. I am in favor of keeping the server as is, for the time being at least. Especially if we are labeled as a "competitive" server |

I meant to cut your first line specifically to make a point >.< my "team chat is there for people to talk tactics" was addressing your issue of competitiveness. Edited Tue Aug 28 2012, 03:25PM |

cTB is more important to competitive balance than dead talk. So if I'm going to get switched from my current team to help maintain that balance, I still want to be able to talk to my original team. The only times I've been alive and the mic was used for team strategy was playing with Glitch and him saying, "Stairwell" or "Front Office" or "Back Window". That is going to be just as effective with All Talk. |

And what really sucks is being very good and being constantly switched back and forth and i cannot finish talking to people. For me it sucks to type...since i play with arrow keys and i have to slide my hands all the way over to type something up. As far as simple strats go...such as rush garage or back hall nades or para paper (or sawed off paper), this is easily accomplished with a simple text team chat at the start of the round. |

I enabled sv_alltalk while I changed the mode to casual, since that appears to be the popular opinion. Details on the change to casual mode are here: -[link]- |
