I banned the first one. The second one got off before I could ban him too I'm looking into banning him even when he's not on the server. I think autoban will work. edit: I don't see any way that I can do it. To clarify, STEAM_0:0:12603074 was banned. The other was not. Edited Tue Sep 04 2012, 02:13AM |

When connected to the server, if you go into the console you should be able to type sm_addban <time> <steamid> [reason] . That adds the Steam ID to the server ban list. | ||

Did you ban them with provocation? The times that I played with the Grand Wizard guy, he wasn't doing anything and when I made it clear that I wasn't messing around with anyone's BS, I didn't hear a word from him. | ||

I explained that they could visit the site to protest the ban, but the one I banned made it clear he wasn't interested in doing that. I have no issue if you want to unban them. They seemed okay MOST of the time, but it seemed that basically everyone else wanted them banned. (and as Bandito stated, "racism" is against the rules) P.S. Just because he can be intimidated when an admin is on doesn't mean we should allow him to play on the server. If he gets on when an admin isn't on, guess what he's going to do... I'm not going to lose any sleep either but I think I wrote, and I'm paraphrasing, "Tell them to change their names and stop spouting off their ignorant beliefs". I want that to be how situations are handled with racist handles, etc. Give them a warning first. | ||

I have zero problems with this, especially if they are obviously not willing to come to the forums to defend themselves. Automatically makes them not the caliber of person we want playing on the server in my opinion. | ||
