I agree with eagle...i like the auto slay for the ridiculous tking that has been going on...but it can be annoying if it was accidental and you get killed for it anyways...besides that I like how its all going now | ||

yes ftc is alot better then rotation as you dont have to worry about the constant crashing. hope that can be fixed... |

Since the new mani has been installed ive been getting 180ms steadily any ideas why this mightve happened? I used to get 50-90ms so i cant really play on ftc as of now =( | ||

Mani hasn't been installed yet. It didn't work tonight and I didn't feel like dropping the server repeatedly during peak hours if I continued to have trouble getting it installed. I set up a (yet another) test server this evening and made sure I could install it without any crashing. I'll try to get up a little earlier tomorrow so I can correctly install mani as well as get on and make sure it works. BTW, the the auto slay is just regular ol' "mp_tkpunish 1" |

I'm sure kremit will install it on FTPR. We should make sure if works on FTC first, though. BTW, it's installed on FTC as of 7 this morning. |

BAT was alright for admins who are content with being labeled as 'basic'. Thanx Alex for puttin in the extra effort to get Mani up! It seems that everytime Steam drops an update to improve play, they also fuck something up in the process. | ||

Yep, I busted my balls the past few days both testing and implementing BAT as well as mani. It's nice to know that BAT is a worst-case backup for mani in the future. From what I understand, the programming API that plugin developers are supposed to use is rarely followed, and in some cases, impossible to accomplish some "ghee-whiz" features of several plugins. The devs hook into code that changes between updates, which results in breakage. Both Valve and the plugin devs are to blame (laziness versus a shitty API), and if you have the unfortunate experience of being on the HLDS mailing lists, you already know that accusations and blame are pretty common between the two groups. Anyway, FTC hasn't crashed all day, so it looks like we might have a winner here. |
