Find admins with common sense? Does that imply our current admins do not have common sense already? I think you've got this all backwards. This rule empowers admins to deal with players who lack common sense.
I think we need to add more rules.
Bah I know, I have been drinking and I am pretty pissed casue I can't get the passanger side rear upper control arm off my jeep. God damn thing has wasted two 2 days of work already... Also I like to camp at ct spawn and scout the little fucks as the come from garage thats why I didn't like 20 seconds.. Scouting takes time, I have to reload after each headshot yeah know? PS there are to many damn rules, just get admins with commen since so there don't have to be some many rules. [ Edited Thu Dec 29 2005, 05:17AM ] |

loose interpetation? there is something about this, i donno if i am getting this correctly. sounds like it is best judement (sp?) i guess i will just talk to u about it in private. |

Wow, I can't believe the 20 second rule has been around for this long. As I recall, I was catching beef for my 'camping with a scout' tendencies. So rather than getting punished everytime, I decided to propose a 'shot clock', similar to basketball. I thought that 20 seconds would be sufficient time to scout a few heads and get moving toward hosties. As it turns out, most scout HS are dished out within the first 10 secs of the round,,, you might pop another random noob straggler at around 15 secs,,, so I'd pop outta the window in the CT spawn nest and get going with the objective at around 17-20 secs. I'm glad that I proposed this idea to Zad and a few other admins before word reached Alex and the rule was made official. Although, I do miss the advert, "Bubble Goose, get out of spawn and drop that scout!" That always made me laugh.  However, I have noticed that CT spawn camping has re-emerged every so often. My suggestion is for all admins to step up the enforcement of the rule. Use the escalation procedure and some common sense. When ma_explode does not do the trick, move it up to a slap. I too have been far to chills and only opting for explodes when slaps would be more effective. Just a small heads up.

i think i know what he's talking about. It's camping, if you are there for too long, and you aren't moving, your gonna get slayed. I can see someone sitting in the corner as kamping, but if they came from the backyard and you had to fall back and take cover in the garage, as long as you were doing something, i guess, it wouldn't be considered camping. | ||

i belaive the no camping role is a great role but should be countered to like 40 seconds..........ive been caught in a few bad ass t rushes (p90) style and have had to sit back and own a lil ccamper style, but threw my playing at ft for almost 2 years i kno admins dont slay when this happens they onlyslay for obvius ofenders so im for the 20 seconds but against it lol |
