Lately FTC has been getting up to 500-700 rounds played which is cool because people are in there but it makes the hitboxes of the server absolute shit. I'm suggesting putting a round limit on the server of 100 even 200 and then have it restart. This would help keep the hitboxes where the models are instead of being able to shoot people's tracer that they cant see. Just a suggestion because it's the only reason I haven't played much office lately. |

I would have though there would be more people in favour of keeping the game nice and smooth and keeping teh hitboxes were they are supposed to eb than the limitless office, allthough limitless is pretty fun to see how high you can get your score... but that jsut my oppinion |

Can you provide a link or reference that backs up what you claim? Other people have suggested round limits, and when we tried them last spring there was no noticable difference. | ||

Well i was just going on what GODMADEGUN and sin was on about i personally join when it is about 200-300 rounds in so i mgiht not bet suffering from the hitbox lag or whatever it is called | ||

One problem, among others, with restarting the server after X rounds is that people leave. Nothing will get people to look at the clock and realize it's late or that they have other stuff to do like a restart. A fair amount of people will not return after the restart. Also, I know that many people like to have high scores. When people have been on the server for four hours they like to have something to show for it, like a score of 211-108 on the score board. |

I'll set it to 200 rounds for a few days or a week and we can see how it works (again). If it doesn't do anything then FTC will still be "the home of the most famous and ridiculous BULLSHIT" as some obnixous prick once said. Oh well. | ||

Good point on the rounds, it might be cool to see what 50 rounds max does for the server. It would let you see which team is winnin/losing easier too. There are def some advantages to never changing maps though. |
