I dont know if restarting the game will have much or any effect on the hitboxes, but i think it could help out balancing teams or changin how the game is being played. Changing maps would cause players to switch between teams, thus providing a new "experience". Different tactics, different skills within the team. Sometimes it gets dull, when people do the same thing over and over. On other note: ENABLE AWP!!! Awp is a nice weapon and fun to play against. |

I just made this to see what other people thought of the hitboxes, if you guys dont think it would actually change then I can understand. I do agree that restarting would change of the pace and strategy of the game, But I didnt know you had tried this in the past alex, I though it might help but if you know it doesn't ignore my reasons. | ||

alexH have you really never had a problem with hitboxes there, im sorry that i put that a little harsly but im sure other have felt the frustration that sometimes accompanies playing FTC. Also, an advantage of the server restarting after X rounds is that people will hopefully switch teams giving people the opportunity to get a piece of the action from both perspectives. although i totally understand what Fetus said (When people have been on the server for four hours they like to have something to show for it, like a score of 211-108 on the score board.) but either way ill stay play FTC as much as always. |

Lmao Fetus doesnt want people to realize they are wasting their lives away playing CSS. It happens to me all the time, Ill be playing here and forget about my homework and have to hurry up and rush to do my homework at 6 a.m. As for the hitbox thing, I never really payed attention to what happens, I just realize that I suck after a while  Unless the hitboxes are plagueing me, I dont know lol.

Dissaproved. Pretty much every time I come to FTC, my goal is to get 100 kills, this won't be much fun if there's a round limit. No point in round limit either, just pisses people off, lose players, etc. |

Has a sort of round limit been put in place? I was in there later tonight and rounds were just starting to approach 100. (My opinion inc.) I think the hitboxes were ALOT better tonight, I could hit people where I saw them and vice versa. I wasnt in for the rounds to reach max so I didn't get to see if teams were switched up/ balanced. Balancing teams should not be left up to restarting the map and hoping for a balanced outcome. Balancing teams is expected of admins as well as FT's, and even regulars. Relying on a map restart to balance or whatever is just dumb. I can see teh argument for restarting based on hitbox lag and if it does infact do something positive, then thats cool. I never really noticed the 'hitbox lag' because its understood that the server updated 66 times a second. I think that instead of making a benchmark of X amount of rounds before a restart, it should be more arbitrary. For instance, allow higher level admins to use common sense to use mani and change the map to office when the time is right. For instance, before peak hours, if nobody has a substancial score, perhaps do a vote that asks "Do you mind a quick restart to fix up hitboxes?" "Y/N" Or even during supper hours, to restart and get ready for the evening peak? That is of course assuming that restarting the map has beneficial qualities. Salty nuts anyone?
