Alright, cool. We know abuse is working on the new server. I wasn't sure if that would carry over or not but it's good to know it followed. PM me about the abuse -- I'd prefer to keep this thread limited to discussion about what works and what doesn't work on the test server. |

Ya Alex, its pretty sweet. I noticed pings have been a bit higher on FTC lately than what there were a lil while ago. Personally, on the Test server, I noticed slightly higher FPS, lower ping (by around 20-30 ping pwn points) and it seems to be running smoothly. Very smooth and fast with accurate hitboxes. Someone made the comment that he experienced packet loss and more choke as well as a higher latency on the test, but I am assuming its because the server is in Chicago and hes nowhere near it.  Plus, the 100tic makes scouting easier.  We had a 9vs8 for a little while and it seemes to be on point. Thanx yet again! Your efforts are much appreciated and I hope that the server costs are not much higher. Would you consider doing a stable/constant migration for later on tonight to test it with consistant fullness and perhaps more people will post about their experiences? *EDIT* Kate, I took care of the guy that TKed you in-game. The cockfoolery will be in every server until CS:S implodes. It doesn't surprise me that it happened so quickly.

I haven't even rolled adverts on the current FTC yet. We have to get the word out and give people advance warning. I'm hesistant to do the "cexec connect" thingy because it confuses the fark out of people... Maybe one more time if the test server goes empty tonight during peak hours and FTC is full. I need to go drink and think about this one.
