truth man. were cool. just to set the record straight, there were no 4th and 5th tk's. he was just running around knifing you trying to get you to kill him. you were out at back window when he succeeded and you tk'd him, as a matter of fact. i was watching the whole time dude after you alerted me at what was going on, i think i remember him only actually killing you once, if that. |

Yeah, I give very little mercy to idiots like that, if I see a noname player that I have never seen before, and obviously has no intention of contributing anything usefull, I kick/ban after a warning. Sometimes its not needed to give 4-5 warnings or what not, some asshats just arnt worthy of the tank : ) | ||

Agent, your delivery could use some work, but it sounds like you brought up a legitimate concern. I'm not going to try to piece together exactly what happened since your story and the other interested person's story differ, but you are wise for identifying those who deserve punishment. Unfortunately, no admin is going to meet the expectations of every single player. Even you. Communication is key whether admins or players are involved. I'm not the best example as I tend to react quickly and decisively when I get frustrated with other admins or players (which I continually try to work on fixing...), but there several different ways you could have handled this problem. I strongly suggest you take future matters up with the involved admin(s) and work as a part of our team. This should also be of note to regulars -- you can help admins by drawing attention asshattery in a much more positive way than the post that started this thread. Omega will be the first to tell you that we're not mind readers.  You can get frustrated and not say anything (or much), and wonder why you're not getting the admin support you think you deserve, or you can be assertive, polite, and persistent... and we'll probably get around to you. Remember, there are usually several more players than admins around, and you're not always going to be first on every admins list of people to help.I can guarantee you that you will be in a similar situation as you described above, except you'll be the admin. Since you've stated you're not familiar with Mani, this leads me to believe you're not experienced with any administrative responsibilities. I'm not trying to bust your balls here, but I hope you will soon appreciate the amount of attention that is required, and how quickly players will grill you for the slightest mistake. Good luck. |
