This is something I've had to deal with from the beginning of FTC. Hell, I've even been involved in disputes with other admins, and honestly it fucking sucks. The reason I'm making this post is because we've had some issues between admins that were not easily resolved over the past few months. This is not a post to try to rehash what has happened before -- this is how I'm going to deal with it moving forward. Feel free to make another thread about the recent issues (no names need be mentioned here), and I'll be pissed if people bring up their particular admin disputes here. You can use examples (again, don't use names) if you have questions, but this will not boil over to a pissing match between admins that have problems with eachother. So... some admins like to mute, gimp, kick, ban, whatever other admins because you're both jockeying for ego position, can't pull your head out of your asses, etc. Here is my simple solution: suspend both of your admin priveleges, and you'll both have to work very hard to get them back. Admins are supposed to be a part of a team. I understand if you want to flex your muscles a little (using the punishment procedure, of course) on fucktards that show up and immediately cause trouble, but fucking with other admins is not acceptable. Admins are obviously going to disagree with eachother, but if you can't deal with it amongst yourselves and I have to get involved then there are going to be problems. If you want to yell or admin abuse eachother then you need to leave, spam eachother's AIM, xfire, etc. and not mine, or the admin chat of the server. Our community of regular players is slowly shrinking and admins should be the most team-oriented group of everyone that plays on FTC and FTC2. Admins have the most impact on how sucessful our servers will be. If you can't coexist with other admins then what the fuck are would-be regulars supposed to think about our servers? Feel free to bring up any issues you have with my statements here, and again, don't bring up shit that has already been settled. |

Woot, I have been wondering how long it was gonna take for something like this to happen. Guess what, it wasn't because of me either. I always thought that I would be the cause for a post like this... I need to play more... I am obviously losen my position as the biggest asshole... -.- Oh and btw I like to flex, and show off. Not everyone can bench 315 and clean jerk 255. |

My belief has always been never fight between eachother in public. It makes people leave, makes you and the server/clan your in to bee worth shit. But more importantly makes you look like an idiot who couldn't resolve it like a real person. Admins fighting one another is bad.... using admin to further terrify that mix is even worse. Im no angel,ive bumped heads with other memebers in the past. I used to be a real douche in the past. But ive always taken arguments to admin only or xfire. If you have a problem use xfire, god knows you use it for everything else. | ||
