Today around 9 PM FTC crashed and wouldn't come back up. The statsmeminimum plugin was the culprit and I have no idea why it waited until tonight to start crashing. It's been removed and FTC is back up and running. We'll use mani stats for now and they have been reset. Have fun fighting for that number one rank...

Hrm, it just crashed ago but came up on it's own. I had the new Mani plugin installed so I'm not sure if this is going to be an on-going problem. The statsmemin plugin was definitely causing trouble before -- the server would not start with it enabled. Not sure what the new problem is but I'll keep an eye on it... |

The reason it waited till now to crash was becouse it was being reset at around 9:00. It was lagging so it got reset. Edited Sun Nov 19 2006, 11:18AM | ||

Looks like the server is crashing a few times a day since Saturday night. If this were a *nix box I would have a stack trace from a core dump in a few seconds, but... as far as I can tell the Windows srcds.exe file wasn't compiled with debugging symbols or my useless knowledge of CPP debugging on Windows is really shining at the moment. So I'm at a loss for where to figure out what's crashing. I removed eventscripts (since the latest steam update rendered most of them useless). Nothing is catching my eye on mani forums that others are having the same problem... If anyone knows of a way to get a stack trace from a MDMP file I would greatly appreciate the help. The Google is no help at this point. Also, if anyone sees a particular sequence of events that lead up to a crash please let me know. Thanks. EDIT: This is teh sux0r. It crashed again while I was playing for no apparent reason (other than being the worst possible time since it was full and it took me several minutes to join, only to play less than ten rounds).
