When I first found out I sobbed, then cried. Happy Happy!!!!!!!!! FTC2 again...I feel like I'm home again! After I found out FTC2 was back I joined immediatly and didnt leave for hours =-). Is this going to be permanent Alex or just until FTC is back up and running w/o crashing all the time? |

Most likely permanent as everything I've tried to do with this server seems cursed. It isn't all my fault, though. Valve has consistently fucked the Linux port of SRCDS, and if you can believe it, up until last March FTC and FTC2 were running on the same physical server at 66 tick. FTPR and FTDM could barely run 20 players at 66 tick, let alone TWO SRCDS's at the same time. I broke down and loaded Windows (as a profession *nix Systems Admin this is a shameful adminission) on the machine a few weeks ago and it seems to be running much better. HL2/SRCDS is primarily developed for 'doze and Valves effort to port and maintain a Linux variant is laughable. Anyway, the above is probably useless knowledge to anyone else but I felt like sharing.  FTC2 is only at 50 tickrate now but it will probably move up to 66 soon if everything goes well. Please let me know if you guys see any problems with it, thanks. |

The server preforms nicely good job alex. Just wondering shoudl you be able to buy an AWP??? Last nite I killed someone who had one (he never got ot fire it lol) and I was like wtf how did he get that. | ||
