I think the Counter Bet crashed and doesn't work anymore. Alcohol Powered knows all about it, I don't know about technical shit with servers since I've never really worked with them, but the server was crashing alot before and I guess it doesn't work anymore. | ||

yea if i remember reading about the server thing, it was the counter betting that caused the whole server to go into that crashing spree. maby it was just that script that was the problem because other servers are fine with some other betting things. speaking of addons and shit, hwo about a banking mod. since everyones always asking admins for money, if one isnt there they can just go into thier bank, take some money out, and stfu about asking admins for money over and over and over and over an over. lol Welcome to the forums btw czar lol |

FYI: Counter-Bet and Event Scripts had nothing to do with FTC crashing back in November. The various steam updates since then have broken a lot of ES scripts, and Counter-Bet hasn't been maintained for quite some time. I'll think about a bank script again. |

A bank script? Well there is some goods to that, and some bads. The good thing is, when a team is stacked, and the losing team needs money, instead of annoying the shit out of the admin for money, they can use the bank account for their advantage. This would be a good idea to help keep the teams balanced. The drawbacks to it though are that it could make it hard for people new to the server that don't know about it. Not only that, I wish there was a way for it to clear bank accounts after every 24 hour period. That could make the game more interesting. I'm not sure if you can do that or not, but that would be sweet if you could try that, so people don't have bank accounts with like 1,000,000 dollars in it. That just makes the game less challenging. | ||

The bet mod is groovy. The bank mod is not really necessary and screwing around with deposits and withdrawls at the start of rounds will only slow the game down. Plus, the winning team can deposit loads of cash only to continue the pwnage,,, rich will get richer, the poor will continue to lose and ask admins for cahs anyways.
