Ok guys look. To begin with, Bubble Goose I got no real problem with you; aside from sprays that I feel are unbecoming of a public server's affiliates (which you change when patrons voice their disgust over their surprise promotion to proctologist). In fact, upon retrospection of Yesterday's events and the posts, I think that Goose's action was a forthright and just punishment expected for a tker. I would have taken action as admin over someone tking twice as well. Though a 1000 minute ban is disproportionate to the crime and seems to support the notion that Goose has some grudge against me, as does the rest of his post. I personally would have warned, kicked, and then banned if they rejoined again with the bad behavior and threw in a lil steam ID forum post on the side.) I joined the game as "[FT] AwsedreswA [F7L5]" and was a CT that ran into T spawn and nailed 2-3 guys. I felt great because my friend Trey was standing right there watching me die in glory charging projector room. Then I changed the name to what he wanted, told him not to type any messed up shit because I just got unbanned, and he even cut me off as I was telling him keys interjecting with, "I've played this game before man I got it." So I walked away and sat down to watch some TV. It felt like I sat at the TV for no more than 5 minutes watching Colbert Report rerun when he turned to me and said, "I got banned, what was the name of that map so I can find a new server." Now at this point I'm thinking, "well he could be fucking with me, after all he is the kind of guy to joke around like that." But to my dismay, he was searching for servers when I looked over at the screen. I am like "How did you get banned man what did you do?" He said he flashed somebody, and I said "you flashed someone once and got banned?" He said something to the effect of, (memory a little fuzzy, he like stumbled or something telling me) "well I flashed somebody then they told me if I did it again I'd get banned and then I shot him." I believed that, though I didn't want to. Anyway, I did play the first round when I signed on (and pwnd). I don't think I said my friend trey was getting on, nor do I recall saying whats up to anyone. He had to wait a minute for me to log off WoW, and after seeing me have a great round he was anxious to play; I really didn't think to type to you guys, I just passed the stix (or headphones rather). Thanks for seeing things level headed AP and havok, glad to be back. Narf, It would have been a lot more help to my case had you said something like, "Trey used to live in the same house as you, actually lives one street over from you now, and that you wouldn't put it past him to TK in some CSS." But I'm glad to have you in my corner, every bit helps when you have the Lead admin resorting to petty insults. Fight fire with fire I guess. I am pretty sure Narf's "Yall" was meant to single out his derogatory comments towards others with the same. And Noname, Trey doesn't have a computer. If he did he'd likely have the game and wouldn't be playing at my house. And Trey is just his alias. |

The punishment was either 'just' or 'disproportionate' , pick one. 16.7 hours of bannage for 2 TKs and teamflashes seems about right. Actually, had I not seen the name change at the beginning of the round, it would have been for longer. I refrained from adding on a couple of 0's (or even a single 0) for YOUR sake. People who come onto the server and 'immediately' (within a few rounds) TK repeatedly without an appology should be banned because 'warnings' seem somewhat fruitless given the current actions and presumed mindset of the perp. But a 'shoot first and ask questions later' approach is not prefered in every instance as you will mention, but c'mon. A 'first time player' on the server who immediately intentionally TKs should only be granted so much slack... AwsedreswA wrote ... Clearly, given the intentions of the person, eliminating the problem sooner rather than later is in the best interests of the people playing. I mean shit; a player joins and immediately TKs and teamflashes and has no remourse... Believe me, I know the 'type'. I bought CS:S the day it came out because I was banned on every FF 1.6 server, I know the reconnect w/ name change tricks to avoid banning and its better to deal with the situation while admins are on to ensure that the douche doesn't return in the near future when no admins are playing and causes shit then. Ironically, you 'would' spend copious amounts of time and effort warning, kicking, banning and then Posting about a blatant TKer, yet you would not spend a fraction of that time balancing teams,,, your logic and time management skills are bulletproof. Right, you flame me for my petty insults, (like 'ballsucker') yet you are thrilled that Narf's massive insults are in your favor. I don't go out of my way to start unprovoked shitstorms, and Narf's 'Yall' comments don't single me out, they were comments relating to the entire community, yourself included.
