1. Not really original, but think of all the fun we could have if we called ourselves Office Linebackers, |OL|? -[link]- 2. I agree, the same option as when FT re-started. We put the offer out there for a few weeks and any admin that bites is in automatically (and has the minimum hours!) 3. 300 hours is fine with me but I could go higher. 4. They need to be two seperately maintained systems, but there is nothing wrong with adapting the FT Community Clan voting system. While your suggestion of 300 hours will help ensure only loyal FTC's even have a chance of entering, some more controls on recruitment may be a good thing. 5. As long as the clan does nothing more than determine who gets to wear a tag and who doesn't then I see no problem with this. I'll just throw this idea out here: since this clan would be closely tied to FTC itself then the possibilty of limited influence for matters of server operation, admin appointments, etc. doesn't seem that bad of an idea to me. If this were the case, then the structure could closely resemble what's already in place as far as Ops, Lead Admins, L3, L2, and L1 go. It's just an idea and I'm not attached to it. Criticism and support are welcome. 6. I agree. 7. I agree 110%! 8. If they can get the minimum hours and manage to get voted in then I'm all for it. I seriously doubt this will happen with many people, but I see no reason to discourage it. All that said, I think this is a great idea. Thanks to Aborted for suggesting it. Dedicated and loyal FTC'ers deserve recognition! |

I'm goign to leave this thread open a little while longer so we can be sure that everyone who wants to respond has a chance to do so. Pretty soon, I am going to make a new thread and continue on to the next step of forming the clan. So, please get those suggestions in for rules, clan names etc. |
