Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

First off, hi all! Secondly, who wants quake sounds on this server? It's the only gripe I have with Fish Tank but it's a big one. I loves my quake sounds! Getting a big kill streak is just THAT much better if it's announced to the whole server. I've heard a few admins say they don't want them because they're stupid or immature or something but, you can choose to have them on or off. I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by most of the regulars but I'll toss up a vote anyways |

No, this is a stupid thread 1 because we are not voting or having any poll to add sounds to a server 2 its Alex’s server and the decision is up to him if 10 million people voted YES to this Alex does still does not have to add sounds FTC is the #1 server in FT it gets the most player counts and the most connection (same thing) people like the server because its ran professionally and it has a great admin team people don’t want to come to another server with the same old sounds its harder to hear in-game and it make the whole game less fun (in my opinion) yea maybe 1 quake sound like when some one is knifed it will say humiliation I'm out |

Losing all your money is definately enough, at times Quake Sounds can be cool, and fun, but in the long run, I have to agree with Kalibur, they degrade the quality of the server by making it harder to hear teammates, nades, shots, as well as foot steps =P

yeah i'm in the middle for this one. i'd agree on the making it harder to hear actual sounds and things, and the knife, it should just be the old 'owned' rofl, that was the greatest. but on the downside, i mean lets say someone like wu decides to flank 6 cts, once they all hear 'owned' they will at least be more cautious than if they didn't hear anything, so there it is distracting and affects gameplay. the good idea here was that players could have the option to toggle quake sounds. i'd say if there were to be quake sounds, it'd be for the people who'd enjoy having an obnoxious voice announce things that don't even matter. the default for the setting should be off. but after saying all this. kalibur is right. the server is alex's and he can choose w/e he wants with it. but i guess we're all just suggesting =] |

I say no for a few good reasons. 1) We got a lot of good players this means we will constantly hear "head shoot" it will only be fun for about 10 min before it gets really really annoying. Just me alone would get it at least every other kill (I got a 56% head shoot kill) 2) It will ruin my music. It is bad enough having people talk over top my music but I deal with it because it is necessary. Having the quake thing going off constantly will interrupt it more. 3) You can't turn it down if you choose you don't like it for any of the earlier reasons because if you do then you also turn down all the valume in the game. This means it is really forced on you and I don't like that. 4) Downloads make people wait to get on the server. Some people will be turned away just because they do not wish to wait to download the sounds. That is all I got off the top of my head. |

No. I don't think that the server needs quake sounds. Like canoe said, it distracts people and affects gameplay. and i HATE the quake announcement things, like "FIRST BLOOD", you don't even need that shit. also, like kalibur said, this is alex's decision, not ours. but i'd be fine with just one sound saying 'owned' when you get knifed. |

No. I think everyone touched on the main reason and I'll touch on a few as well. Having the sounds takes away from those that are listening to footsteps. It's hard enough trying to hear when someone is coming when everyone is just randomly shooting everywhere at the start of a round. We have a very solid core of excellent players that are regulars on the server and all we would end up hearing was owned and headshot all the damn time. The last reason I want to touch on is the downloads. When people connect to a server and see a download, they most likely don't want to sit through a download and disconnect. People just want to get in game when they want to play. Thanks for bringing up the idea as the Office server owner does take what the community would want into consideration but I don't think this is a good idea. |

Last time I checked you could choose whether to hear them or not, so if you don't like them you can have them off, and if you like them, have them on.
